These flanges were made for a Cosworth FVC powered Chevron B19 sports car, there are countless ways to achieve the same result but with limited/ageing equipment, this is the way I do it. Hope you like it. Please do comment, I'd love to know what you think.

HOME MADE 2 WAY LOG SPLITTER

My home made 2 way splitter powered by MF 135, splitting some Larch but works just as well on tougher wood like Elm and Oak.
excellent job, thank you for sharing it! is it a 1 PPS pulse setting?
Nothing like the right tool for the job.
what it looks like when you've gotten it down to an exact art and science... mesmerized watching how it came about...
Nice flange!
I've got major garage envy Lance 😂
😂 thanks buddy 🤟👍
I see ya still wearing that watch for work 😮
Feel naked without it Phil 🤷
Beautiful work! Can we hear that thing next time?
Excellent vid lance. Ice gotta get some of those cups I'm always struggling to see the tungsten
Art.
That's one hell of a stickout on that tungsten. It must use a lot of gas to keep the weld clean.
good job
That tooling (the expander) is the reason I buy those from people like you.
Now, that's a BIG PROJECT!!
He'll, it looks fast just sitting there !
You make it look so easy it is relaxing watching. Nice work as always Lance
Thanks John 👍
Sometimes I think the hardest part is getting that damn wax paper off the back side of the chrome tape.
Too true 😂🤟
Looks like the same collector you made in the video 5 months ago. But i assume they all look the same.
It's not the same one, but I know what you mean. 👍
Thank you for taking the time to reply, seeing your answers to questions is a real bonus. As they say every day is a school day!
Круто, когда есть оборудование.
just discovered your channel sir , wonderfully precise craftsmanship ! it's a joy to watch you perform
Welcome aboard! 🤟
Hi, love watching your craftmanship. I was just wondering why when you weld the 1st end cap on you don’t seal the ends and fill with gas but you do on the later welds with the perforated tube?
Thankyou, I don't purge the outer part of the silencer as that weld requires no penetration through to the inside and is welded with very low amps to avoid burnback of the outer skin, hope that makes sense 👍
Such a joy to see a master at work again, and I love the close-up shots; your welding is so satisfying to see!
Love watching you work. It's incredibly relaxing seeing bits of pipe and plate become works of art in your workshop.
Glad you enjoy it! 👍
Awesome, and as I used to have an F397 Dallara especially interesting. Is the TIG pulsed? I must try one of those big lenses with a lot of stick out, my eyesight ain't what it was! Great video, thank you.
Could you please upload a video of the making of 3IN→1?
I'll do one when I'm not too busy 👍
I see the electrode stick to base metal at the end of a weld. Is this for a reason? Does it damage the electrode?
Just my way of ensuring the torch doesn't move during post flow, I don't actually touch it till the weld has cooled a little, so no harm to the tungsten 👍
Lance if you use cling film around the fibreglass you can usually get more matting in there packed more densely 👍
Would that make a difference, its about absorbing sound so if its packed solid it will not.
What Tony said 👇
If you pack it too tight, believe it or not, it will be less efficient. 👍
good job. Material of this silencer ?
0.7mm 304 stainless
A short video of how you built the cabinets would be interesting
Well you've done it again a brilliant job as usual
You don’t seem to have any contact details at all on you tube - are you so busy you don’t need to advertise?
Yes, always busy, must be too cheap 😃, no I don't advertise at all, thanks for the comment 👍
Gorgeous as usual. Your cabinets caught my attention, DIY? If so, is a tour of the features and construction possible?
Yes I did make them, I'll do a workshop tour one day 👍
I'll second the request about the cabinets and shop tour.
A real pleasure to watch as always. I've got to build a custom exhaust for a boxer project I'm working on, it would be nice to see you do a pipe using pie cut type segments, I bet it would be a work of art.
❤️ silencer is awesome mate. And great to see the way it's made.
Thanks Chris 👍 did it fit through the wing post's ok?
@LANCETHEGASS it does mate spot on. Will weld the slip joint to the exhaust next week and send you a short vid/pic.
Excellent work.
Thank you! Cheers! 👍
Wow, what a flawless work of art! Looks like perhaps 1Hz and 20 or 25% duty. What are you high and low current settings?
Thank you 👍 My machine setup is shown on my 2-1 collector video.
Did you make the fasteners that hold the collector on?
Yes I did 👍
@@LANCETHEGASS Genius to allow some movement under load/thermal.
simply ART
Great watching pipes getting built, the look so good 😎
Awesome 🏁🏁💪
I'm still learning to weld, but is there a reason why you only do autogenous for your exhausts? Just preference? Also, keep these videos coming!
Thanks for the comment, no reason, just my preference.
TIG welding in vo tec was my favorite. I could do dimes about half way then get so excited with the results that I screwed up the rest of the weld.
😂
Very nice work! nice to see! wich mandrell bender you have?
Transfluid 👍

Thank you
Nice to see the trades are still alive and well, true craftsmanship. Well done. Beautiful
Thank you 💪👍
Brilliant work lance as usual
Cheers Bob 👍
A real inspiration. The exhausts sounded really nice to.
