8th gen civic / Acura CSX Greddy 2.5" exhaust vs Full Race 3.0"
No sound check yet, just a quick comparis9n of the exhausts on the ground. 3" vs 2.5" does not sound like a lot, bit tha5 8s diameter, the difference in circumference is quite significant. Hoping to fab up a test pipe and get a sound check video tomorrow.

My K24/K20 turbo oil drain solution
Переглядів 3,3 тис.2 роки тому
A common issue with installing a turbo oil drain line in a Honda K24/K20 engine, is that the drain ends up being submerged in oil when the drain is installed in the oil pan. This can sometimes cause smoking issues and is generally not a good practice. What I did was to bore and tap a unused boss on the block to fit a -8 ORB to JIC fitting with a 1/2 " drill and used a step bit to make the O-rin...

BMW E92/E93 LED TAILLIGHT REPAIRS
Переглядів 12 тис.4 роки тому
My RH park lamp went out and I found it really ridiculous and unpalatable that BMW used a low quality LED/LED driver assembly that is sealed in the lamp housing. This required a $500CAD replacement taillight assembly from the dealer. They should sell these replacements for cost price as LED's should outlive the car based on even an average life expectancy. If you are going to seal a lamp in an ...

    How many watts is this LEDs? Chenge them with more powerfull ,will be better

    • @elser2utube
      @elser2utube 2 роки тому

      Did not measure the wattage on the LEDs. The problem with changing the LEDs to any different spec is that they are a non standard size and they have to be aligned by fitting in the lamp socket like a dowel. I tried other brighter LEDs, but the result was uneven light distribution.

    • @elser2utube
      @elser2utube 3 роки тому

      @@azertaieb442 The calculation of watts using P=IV is really how much power the motor is using, or how much power the alternator is putting out. ....The actual mechanical output would be the total power consumed multiplied by the efficiency ( which would vary but be some number less than 1) Let's say it is 0.7 in this case. So we would have 70% of the power being consumed by the motor available at the motor shaft. The remaining 30% would be lost in the motor to heat(which would consist of power dissipated in the coils internal resistance and eddy current losses) and friction from the bearings etc. If the voltage levels are the same, the losses should be roughly the same whether the device is being used as a motor or generator (same bearings, same wiring in the coils, same cores in the stator and rotor). Hope that helps.

    • @elser2utube
      @elser2utube 4 роки тому

      Not sure what LEDS could be used as replacements for these because there is a LED driver between the 12V supply and the LED itself. Also, they are a non standard head size, I think they are 4mm from memory. In my case however, it was the driver that was defective. So before you solder in new LED's, make sure your driver has an output or at least test the new ones before soldering them in place.
