I love how down-to-earth Alexandr is -- having the "irrational self-belief" to drive conviction while also having the self-awareness to see that is what it is -- that's the founder conundrum. You have to believe the irrational things with fervor. Thanks for doing these interviews! Keep it up!

Ancient Africans were forging carbon steel 2000 years ago. The Haya people, in what is now Tanzania, developed furnace technology reaching temperatures we thought impossible for ancient times, creating advanced steel that wouldn't be matched for over 1500 years. This was all happening in Africa long before India, China, or Europe, yet their groundbreaking innovation is never mentioned in history books about metallurgy

It’s kind of bad advice. But I appreciate Instacart and what you guys are doing. It gets me thinking for sure. I guess that if you remain favorable to your view of the possibilities you can see the pathways past these reasons it won’t work and with the right mindset you can kind of bend this advice into a process that yields success. Just straight up, trying to kill an idea will do literally that regardless of the true viability.

Does anybody in this comment thread care whether Mark Zuckerberg is saved? Seriously, if his plane went down tomorrow does Mark Zuckerberg possess the blessed assurance that it is well with his soul for all eternity? For the record, Zuck, I do. Watch a Chuck Missler video on 'The Electric Universe.' Read 'Evidence That Demands A Verdict' volumes I & II by Josh McDowell, and F.F. Bruce's work on the reliability of Scripture. Watch a few videos by Jay Vernon McGee and Dr. Donald J. Barnhouse. Invite the risen Lord Jesus into your heart to be lord over your life and confess your sin to God. You won't have to mention your complicity in stealing the 2020 Presidential Election as I'm sure God saw the letter you wrote to Congress. O.K., not funny. But seriously, Dude, even the richest guy in the world can get smushed in a deep-sea diving submarine or his yacht can flip over, though that one seems a little sketchy to me. But we're all going to leave here with the same amount of money: Zilch. I do hope you become a Child of God and know peace that only God can provide a man. Life is but a breath. I remember Steve Jobs. Where's he now? I don't know. Better to be sure, Zuck. Be well in Christ Jesus That is all. Nothing follows.

I'm amazed that he was so far ahead of the rest of us. I thought he'd lost his freaking mind when he changed Facebook to Meta and invested so much into the virtual reality headsets. For the sake of argument, let us assume he's taken the path that will put him ahead of the other A.I. companies and in 5 years his investment pays off in hundreds of billions..., dare I use the word (?) trillions! At that point, Zuckerberg's inclinations towards Fascist control worry me. I do appreciate he wrote a confession for interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election, but I think he did that in an attempt to get out in front of the prosecutions that will be coming if Donald Trump is the POTUS in January of '25. I worry that Zuckerberg will use his power, should his A.I. glasses propel mankind to another technological level we can only now imagine, with which he will be more inclined to advocate and finance in various ways a Communist China-like tyranny over societies including the American experiment.
