Glückwunsch, das ist aber eine reife Leistung. Das hätte ich mir als einer, der fast 40 Jahre Kestrel fliegt nicht zugetraut. Weiß man denn, wie stark das Fallen überm Meer ist oder war das ein Experiment?

I was just thinking I wanted to see a sailplane crossing over ocean going to an island and back :) Sometimes youtube reads my mind lol. I did not even know that was possible but was thinking it should be possible and wanted to see it done ...

small float on the sea and line up to glider plane that moves up like a kite and backwards cos float moves but has some resistance too from the water...could work

Beautiful views, thanks for sharing. I flew (as a passenger) from London to Calvi in July 23 and the flight path was diverted over Germany, Switzerland and Italy and the approach to Corsica was very similar.
