How did the SLP kit perform? Is it as good as a stock 9R?

If it’s costing you around the same as a slash why not just get a slash. Unless you’re getting a real good deal on a newer previously owned machine that’s worth while upgrading than yeah or if you just like wrenching on your machines.

for 1800 usd you most likley can find a wrecked yamaha/artic cat and buy some front shocks and have someone rebuild/revalve them

The concept behind this video combined with the timing of it is PERFECT. Everyone is bitching about the price of sleds since the news from Cat has come out and I've argued that NOBODY is FORCING people to spend 20k+ for a snowmobile. Hell - a LOT of guys won't even fully utilize the potential of a 9R or Boost, but they gotta look cool on the mountain and all of the sudden that's the manufactures fault?? Dumb. And for those saying they got a good price on their NOS turbos - yea, that's great. But just imagine what this SP is gonna be had for. 12k? 11k? Your turbo sleds aren't the only models that will depreciate....it's all relative kids. Great vid from Sahen and the team!!

Wish you would have shown a little overview of putting the head on. I'm curious what has to be removed to get access. Also, a short overview of cutting the tunnel. It's kind of funny they put the long tunnel on the lowest cost model. A shorter tunnel with less aluminum would cost polaris less money due to reduced material costs. You would think they would put short tunnels on them all to keep their costs down.

Great to see you putting videos out again! Wish Polaris would put a 144" track under more 650's as that is a much more manageable track size for smaller riders (women, teenagers) I really think that is the ticket as opposed to a Blast or NEO. Maybe even have a high and low power mode for younger kids, like what Sea-Doo was doing with two different electronic keys.

I put a can on my 850 now it drones in my helmet , I’m learning where it likes the throttle so it doesn’t drone but non the less I wasn’t expecting that otherwise might have considered keeping it stock or a less rowdy can, but it sounds so good on the pipe

Curious on if you still run the slp twin clutching with the zrp clutch parts? And what do you notice for feel and ride ability
