One of my favorite camping trips on my resume…Bear Island was a whole new ball game. Located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, this trip was exactly what I wanted out of a beach camping trip. Little to no people, no roads and cars, lights and buildings…it was just us and the ocean. Enjoy.

Flashing the subfloor is so important. In this video I’m laying down an aluminum flash guard on my tiny house. This took about a day, lots of cutting and measuring. I also sanded down some resale cupboards to end the day!

Stepping foot on two of our nation’s national scenic trails surprised and inspired me at the same time. Archer’s fork is definitely my new favorite Ohio backpacking trail. Situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Trail, this 14 mile loop is a backpacker’s dream. Enjoy the video!
