I'm from Ohio and I love that you are highlighting places to backpack. I've always gone to PA and WV to backpack but you are showing me that there are actually places in Ohio. Thanks Cody! You have a wonderful personality and smile
Hey Cody! Wow! Iced coffee in winter!? How New England of you! Taylor would be proud. Except for the milk in it of course. Wow! Wow! Great cave! 😂 You guys really should wear some orange, we want to see a lot more videos! I didn’t know the North Country National Scenic Trail was that long, that would be one hell of a thru hike. Other than the ATV noise, that was a baller camp site. My last hike there were no open fires allowed. Totally jealous you got to have them. Such a beautiful trail and awesome video! I can’t wait to see some more Ohio trail vlogs! 🙏 Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. #giveashit -Grateful ❤️💙🌹💀🌹💙❤️
Those little stoves are waaaaay underrated. Mine has lasted me many miles. Thanks for representing Ohio. Stay safe out there. Oh and there are some amazing segments of the NCT. Do it!
I live in New Albany and yep its the best one in Ohio. I watched when Taylor came to visit and its too bad you two didn't go there. I'm backpacking there next weekend.
There were 2 thru hikers that completed the NCT this year and actually set the FKT for it. A third will be finishing their thru hike in the next week or so. I believe there are fewer than 20 known NCT thru hikers ever. Hop over that state line and give the McConnells Mill to Moraine to Jennings section just north of Pittsburgh a try sometime!
Just watched your video, glad you enjoyed it as I did when I did it a couple years ago. You should try Lake Vesuvius below Chillicothe, probably my favorite so far in Ohio.
Looks like a great trail to hike. Just tried one of those stoves. I like it. I was worried if it would last considering how cheap it was but I guess the AT is a good endurance test lol

So cool watching you do all my favorite trails. Thanks for a great video.
That over hang/cave was cool. As a West Virginian, thanks for Country Roads. I’ll have to check out that loop.

It’s pretty crazy how long the North country trail is, it’s goes buy my house in NY and by the house I grew up in, in Michigan
It blew my mind honestly!
My BRS stove only lasted 2 trips. 😕 Glad yours worked! Just ordered the Pocket Rocket 2. Love your vids!
Enjoy your videos, Taylor taught you well!

Very nice adventure. Were there a lot of established camp sites?
Less than I expected, but the ones that were there were great!
Love the video man!!! Keep it up!
Thanks Wizard!

Are they fracking Cody?
This looks like a really nice trail. Did you go clockwise? That was a sweet campsite.
Counterclock wise! It was awesome!
Loved the video! I'm from Indiana and would love to backpack in Ohio next year. What is your favorite trail If you could only hike one?
Hi, I have backpacked Lake Vesuvius, about 2hrs south of Columbus. Loved it. It's worth considering.
@@jimmercer4825 I've definitely heard of that one! I'll have to put it on my list!
Love the look of this trail, Cody! Did the ATVs keep you awake?
They actually didn’t which was awesome!
👋
