Reanimation

Isn't rites of reanimation an "ability" instead of a Cryptek action now?? The new errata only makes sense if it allows you to choose the other "Cryptek action" options and start with the rites as a default ability, with the drawback that the apprentek can't reanimate because it's not an "action" anymore. Commence reanimation is free now btw

Well done! Necrons can be tough to deal with when reanimation requires you to kill them twice!

Two things about the Fire Overwatch stratagem: first, the stratagem can only be used once per turn unless a datasheet ability or other rule states otherwise so that second overwatch in the charge phase should not have occurred and second, the stratagem is activate based on movement whether the move be a normal, advance, fall back, or charge move so the stratagem should really be used after a successful charge roll was made since a failed charge roll will not result in a charge move. I hope you keep making these combat patrol battle reports for other combat patrols.

I stumbled upon these 40k 10th ed combat patrol battle reports and have been binging through the few there are since they are short and very well produced videos with a very casual and laid-back style from both players. It took looking up the combat patrol rules to understand why units could be moved from objectives yet still have control. However, per the core rules, unless specified by a specific rule, only one additional CP can be gained each battle round aside from the CP gained per command phase. So, the Imperial Guard should only have ever gained one additional CP each battle round either through the character's enhancement or by rolling for a 4+ on a D6 per the mission rule.
