Cost of Building Material for a House in the Philippines
In this video, I break down the detailed costs of building materials for our house on Bohol Island, Philippines. After sitting down with our construction foreman, we figured out how much everything costs-from foundation materials like sand, cement, and hollow blocks, to the roofing, plumbing, electrical, and finishing touches like paint and tiles.
If you're planning to build a house in the Philippines, this video will give you a clear idea of the current material prices, especially in areas like Bohol where prices can be a bit higher. Feel free to share your thoughts or experiences in the comments!

    Richtig, je größer das Haus, desto größer auch alle Aufwendungen für Reparaturen, Erhalt und andere Kosten. Und 64 m2 sind eine sehr gute Größe, besonders die 8 m2 Terrasse. Ich folge euch noch nicht so sehr lang und war erschrocken, was mit eurem ersten Haus passiert ist. Gab es da eine Versicherung oder habt ihr aus eigenen Mitteln komplett neu angefangen? Sind die dicken Wände, die auf den Philippinen verwendet werden, Typhoon-Vorsorge, denn es hat sich bei euch ziemlich stark auf die Größe ausgewirkt? Gut find ich auch, dass ihr an die Zukunft gedacht habt und euer Haus barrierefrei gebaut habt.👍

    • @livinginthephilippines359
      @livinginthephilippines359 3 дні тому

      Nein, keine Versicherung. Aber das alte Haus hat das Erdbeben relativ gut überstanden. Die Bilder im Video sind von anderen Häusern in der Nachbarschaft. Und die Wände haben wir bei der Planung schlicht vernachlässigt, denn die geplanten 4x4 Meter werden ja außen gemessen. Abzüglich Putz und 1,5 x 16 cm Wand... da wird der Raum halt kleiner. Unser Fehler! Ist bei den Schlafzimmern aber nicht so schlimm. Eher im Badezimmer.

    Small airline tip : China Airlines flies Amsterdam-Taipei-Cebu for 750€ return flights AND… with… 2 x 23 kg luggage allowance in economy class! On the return flight, you have a rather long stopover of 7 hours at Taipei during the late afternoon. Could be interesting also for Germans because there is a high speed railway station at Amsterdam. We Belgians prefer this connection instead of Qatar Air, if we want to fly to Cebu. The 46 kg luggage is a real bonus.
