Hmm, I got mine for almost about ₹17L on the road. I think Suzuki missed is still offering huge discounts and one could bargain a bit to get the top for close to 15 L.

That's just for show. 😅 I got this for 4K. There's another version of it that comes with lights for about 7K I believe.

It is bad and on the higher side when compared to other vehicles, but I wouldn't call it horrible. For example l, Thar's is 5.5. It is .2 less than that of Jimny. I personally, haven't had issues.

It is on the higher side. 5.7 mtrs. However, I usually drive in the hills with sharp turns and bends and I plan accordingly. I haven't noticed any issues.

Sorry to hear that. However, vehicle issues can depend on various factors such as faulty machine, the driving style, or the condition of the roads where you drive. I could have an issue the day I buy a car or not have an issue for years. I've driven my Jimny extensively and I know people who have driven theirs for over a year with no issues at all.

There's indeed no end to the amount and kind of accessories available for the Jimny. I would love to get links to the accessories you have added I think I'd love to add a few to mine.

Shimla/Simla is indeed lovely, but super crowded now. It was different a decade ago 😅. Jimny works nicely here in the hills and I'm sure it is the same in places like Coorg. It's been a long time, but I'd love to explore those places again. Only this time in a Jimny 😊

I think that would really depend on the system itself. I am pretty sure there are upgraded systems that come with proper synchronisation when it comes to better audio with default settings and options so that they work out of the box.

Exactly, the stock one seems to be okay for what it offers. I usually only play music on empty roads as our roads require extra attention anyhow 😅

I don't think they'll discontinue for now and if that happens it may only happen in India. The Jimny would still be manufactured in India and exported out of India. Jimny is super popular internationally. However, I hope they don't discontinue it in India. It's an awesome choice and I love it.

I have one from Sansui. It works for my needs. It offers 1080P front and rear and was for ₹7K only. I got this from the Chandigarh car market (local shop).

That allows you to stretch your legs and I think that works nicely. If you don't take breaks people will be tired and Jimny's back seats aren't comfortable.

That would be based on perspective and individual choice. I love the Jimny and it allows me to own the updated Gypsy that I wasn't able to own when it was available. However, for me it isn't about the resale value at all as I don't plan on selling mine after a couple of years. I plan to keep and use it for as long as I can. ❤️

I prefer the engine noise over anything else any day. 😅 However, I agree, the OEM music/audio system is adequate in the Jimny and should work for everyone. I am not sure why people spend money to upgrade. The money can be used for something else.

That's a great point and I agree, Suzuki missed the mark with the initial pricing that led to Jimny's direct comparison with the Thar. They should have been marketing the Jimny differently.

I don't think there's an issue. I have noticed the same. I just give the vehicle and the gearbox some time/breathing space before I shift between them.

Hi, great choice. I'd say it would depend on your usage. If the drive is mostly city based I'd recommend checking the automatic. It also helps with offroading as I have less things to worry about. 😅 Have you taken the test drive of both the versions? I loved the simple automatic and thus chose the same.
