- I have the Suzuki Jimny Alpha AT variant, which is the top-end variant and it comes with a decent audio system. However, I have been asked this a few times, should you upgrade the audio system and if the stock one is enough?

What component speakers have people put in Jimny
Some installer say 5” is to be put and some say 6.5” speakers we can put

I haven't checked that out, but then, I'm not a big music listener either. 😅 The stock system works for my requirements.
BTW, as requested by others, can you share a link to the Pioneer one and also help with its price?

If u don’t to use a dicky space install a underseat subwoofer
supposing you upgrade to a better sounding music system from pioneer , sony , kenwood etc costing much more for the quality and various additional features do you have to flash the new system for additional other vehicle statistics features like distance to empty , total mileage , trip stats, 4x4 engagement etc...how does that work out....nice to see...👍
I think that would really depend on the system itself. I am pretty sure there are upgraded systems that come with proper synchronisation when it comes to better audio with default settings and options so that they work out of the box.
@@weekendsafarnama yes lot of hassles so it is best to stick to the company fitted system with some compromises in sound / video and screen resolution brightness ....
Exactly, the stock one seems to be okay for what it offers. I usually only play music on empty roads as our roads require extra attention anyhow 😅

Im actually finding the OEM Music System in the Jimny quite adequate for my needs. I never play it at high volume. I also actually prefer the engine noise most of the time.
I prefer the engine noise over anything else any day. 😅
However, I agree, the OEM music/audio system is adequate in the Jimny and should work for everyone. I am not sure why people spend money to upgrade. The money can be used for something else.
i test drove the jimmny yesterday... the Jimny is a fun lil car, sadly Maruti is gonna discontinue soon due not identifying who the car is meant for... sad...
I don't think they'll discontinue for now and if that happens it may only happen in India. The Jimny would still be manufactured in India and exported out of India. Jimny is super popular internationally. However, I hope they don't discontinue it in India. It's an awesome choice and I love it.

I agree to disagree. I own the same variant and felt the Stock audio system is not close to being adequate for me. Although i am not satisfied with the one to which i ended upgrading either. I am not a bass head that i need the boom boom system in my car but i need decent audio system which makes the highs and lows clear. not bothered a lot about the mids since I am into Rock and Blues. Now when i look back i feel that i should not have upgraded but we never know the future. Current state is that i hate the upgraded audio almost the same as the stock. Baaki cheers bro!! Maybe we will bump into each other someday in Solan fellow Himachali. :)

I feel I am quite happy with the stock audio system and the output, but then again that's just me. BTW, what did you upgrade to? I was reading another comment about a Pioneer one that works for Jimny out of the box. It sucks when you aren't satisfied by the upgrade either.

I can see dashcam installed . Which model and how is the performance ?
I have one from Sansui. It works for my needs. It offers 1080P front and rear and was for ₹7K only. I got this from the Chandigarh car market (local shop).

1080p with 60 fps is good but lower speed 30 fps is also fine . Sansui is good brand , I will try to search
It is indeed and Sansui is a good brand. They have been in the dashcam market for years even before these new brands came along. I am happy with what it offers for the price.

Haha, true. I tested Hinglish in the new vlog. I'll upload it tomorrow, but now that I look at the videos, I see it is more Hindi than Hinglish 😅
