I’m a huge fan of trains and support the train horn a lot! Also, I do like plane spotting sometimes. I am a guy who wants to promote the camaraderie between all railfans and train crews all around the United States. Eventually I’ll do more railfanning on other railroads! I also want to promote the same thing for aviation geeks as for railfans and an aviation geek like myself. I also like horses and currently own one so I am somewhat limited on how much I get to railfan sometimes. I also, have a model railroad since I like that stuff also. I also am a truck enthusiast and enjoy lifted trucks to put that out there. Not to also mention that I do enjoy nature also and I will film the creeks and rivers that I have the chance to film. I also really enjoy seeing waterfalls a lot. I will definitely be filming the waterfalls that I get to see. The purpose of my channel is to share the experience I have in the moment so that people can see it.

Here is the railfanning video from the action at Tamarack Avenue on the day of October 17,2024. This video features lots of Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and NCTD Coaster trains cruising through this unique crossing at Carlsbad,California. what happened to 6904's horn?!
@@CSX6711 the recent horn it has/had had hit a tree a little while after overhaul destroying the 1 Bell and it also got the 1,2,and 3A bells replaced with the same bell configuration and same manifold from before. This I can say is what we would call coaster treatment that is similar to the early 2010s NCTC 2303.
6904's horn sounds like it's getting a bit weaker and quiet.

@@djmasterty2309 774 also going slow but probbaly 60mph while 572 was probbaly 45-50mph. Also, do you happen to know if rail service is running tomorrow, because I was told everything is back to normal tomorrow?

Wow no superliner coach on that train! Zonking 2304's horn I wish it had a raiseletter K5LA like 2310's horn.
I think the zonking would go to CDTX 2119,CDTX 2116,NCTC 2303,and NCTC 5003 mostly. While a raised letter would be cool on NCTC 2304 while I personally don’t mind its K5CA. While I do respect your opinion.
Yeah that's one thing that coaster cab cars should improve is on the horns. That's where I think it's falling behind I like cap cars 2306 through 2310!@@djmasterty2309
509 definately sounds amazing on this dash 8.I saw a reverse set on 784 with cabcar 6901 a few days ago on Wednesday while waiting for my coaster train after the padres playoff game.They honked a little bit in the qz which was a treat and departed as 595 with 2116 leading nb.

What's your opinion on cab car 2310? If coaster would have had all their cop cars with Nathan k5la raised letter horns I feel like it would be a nice addition for all cab cars to get that.

Unfortunately, we’re not gonna see 785 with 6951 and 2118 and 583 with 6905 and 2111
6905 would have led 785 on the day this was filmed also if the rotation wasn’t swapped at Santa Fe Depot. Amtrak 765’s original consist became 572 and that usually would become 785 normally. 761’s original consist was swapped out also in terms of that being 774 and CDTX 2118 was put on there and 2112 was put on a different set. That train should have led 587 that day.

Most of the trains in the afternoon were delayed mainly the sb surfliners and I can see why since there were signal issues caused by vandalism according to surfline alerts today.
@@blose774 yes I did notice that yesterday. On the San Juan Capistrano Virtual Railcam I saw a mention of signal issues on the Orange Sub I believe it was.

Yes it can be. Depending on how heavy the load is on the train it seemed like. Also, the Leslie S5A is a super rare horn just like the S5D was. It is deeper sounding than that of a Leslie S5D and S5T.

@@blose774 that would be pushing the limit I would think for those tracks at Tipton Road. I believe the speed limit is 55 there and 40 west of it. 55 east of it for sure and then after Palm Desert I would think it would be near 70.
