I would go for the face lift model as it has new techs, new engine etc.. and the exterior and interior looks better. Also I believe both can only be purchased cash so there is no upside to having a pre facelift. But i do advice this to everyone asking, which is to go for the best example. Biggest cc, highest spec that you can find. If i can turn back time ill go for 2.5 v6. No replacement beats displacement.

Based on your budget, a W202, W210 or W203 is in range. I would not know the reliability or running cost of those cars. If you stretch it to 30k then you can get the cheapest W204 and the yearly budget is how i mentioned in specific in the video. I do not know a budget of a japanese cars.

Theres actually a new knowledge i obtained after i did this video. For every 100,000km, just change your timing chain.. this will save you alot from changing your sprocket, which is the most expensive part.. more expensive then the labour / job fee. The loose timing chain is whats causing the sprocket to wear thin and eventually break. Because a loose chain it pulls the sprocket when rotating

Hello. "Chinese camshaft" = exhaust & inlet camshaft adjuster?. Camshaft normally has less issue. Yes, no?. Most important is not to buy engine oil online as you never know if it is a fake oil in or not!. I change the oil every 10,000km which is about once a year. My mechanic says many old Mercedes, with M271 engine, driven by old uncles have no issues as they are not aggressive drivers. Not to the type of sudden pedal to metal type of drivers. 🤣🤣🤣

@@HaniffYahya let's say you like the car enough to keep it for next 5 years. So you put in RM5000 annually for the next 5 years. Make a list of items that you think to be replaced in the 1st 3 years base on actual condition & advise from a good mechanic. 1st year I change the roof liner, key FOB, transmission mount, headlight cover, change SBC reservoir, change main battery pls few other item. 2nd year repaint the car, change PCV & hoses, change compressor oil etc. Change 4 arms under the carriage. 3rd year change all water hoses, change tensioner & belt and rollers. Change gasket for valve cover and inspect timing chain. Maybe install Sonnax overlap valve & Transgo pressure regulator for MB722.6 transmission. Basically replacing items that tend to have a bit of wear for a car already more than 15 years old.

The opposite. A mode is the best of both worlds (the C Mode and S Mode) It consumes fuel like C mode But performa like an S mode Its more rev happy then an S Mode The down side about S mode is, if you drive slow it doesn’t feel nice as it wants you to floor the paddle and change gear at a higher rev. Whereas for A mode, its ok to cruise as changes gear at a lower rev like a C mode. Bit once you floor the paddle, it suddenly awakes and acts like an S mode, but better
