Will there be any maintenance videos as I have a problem with card feeding knob in that I can’t get it to push down to feed any patterns in. It actually hurts my hands to push it down?

Hello, I have just bought a singer 321 and tried all your methods to cast on but my machine just ties the yarn around the brushes or misses many stitches and leaves a hanging loop. The machine has just come back from a complete overhaul but I just cant get it to cast on. This is one part I like; Part 4 at 7:20. Brilliant videos! I bought a machine but it did not "work", Sent it away for a service and it came back with a swatch on ALL the needles 12 rows. I set it up and it still did not work for me. Now I watch you videos so I am off to do some knitting. Thanks a million. Dennis.

I am confused. My carriage on an 881 seems great and moved the needles but once the sinker plate is on, jam-city. Is there a chance it's the wrong sinker plate? Is there a way to attach the sinker plate that I don't understand?
