Thanks Charlie I love watching your adventures with vintage knitting machines. I love garter stitch. The entry level hand knitters stitch, that is so hard to achieve on a machine has always fascinated me.
Ваші уроки дуже потрібні і корисні Дякуємо ! , будемо чекати продовження занять на цій машині ......... Узори цікаво! Ви потрібні зі знаннями світу , Дуже мало уроків по цій моделі..... Меда і т.п.
We found one of these exact machines abandoned in a charity shop, so we have rescued it and given it a home! By some miracle it's all complete, but it is slightly rusted in places. Do you have any recommendations for cleaning up the teeth and repairing spots in the enamel where the metal is showing through?
Nope; the beauty of this machine is that you can do either knit or purl stitches, so that raises the possibility of stocking or garter stitch. Intarsia is also dead easy because you have to lay the yarn in by hand anyway.
@@singlentendre awesome I am trying to find one of this machine or ones simular I have two different machines coming this week that I think might be simular but not sure until they get here. I'm looking forward to finding this machine one day too. Thank you so much.

Thanks Charlie,it's fascinating seeing these vintage machines in action.

Charlie, have you done anything on knitting actual “things” which you mentioned in video 9?
No but I have been asked to and I will shortly be embarking on a "simple jumper for beginner knitters" series which should start soon!
How did you cast on
You e-wrap round the pins before the first row, and it is a real pain in the bum!
@@singlentendre maybe i will try crochet cast 0n when my machine comes
