Hi Robert, I’m afraid I haven’t. There are two settings on the TFT screen, if it is set to dark mode it’s maintained, however it it is set to light mode it darkens as the ambient light decreases.

@@MerciaMoto There seems to be two types of screen available, one that has colour & one that is black & white. From the videos the black & white one seems to be harder to see at angles. Normally, as this works by altering polarity, Polaroid lenses tend to end up only seeing a black screen. Anyway, I guess I will need try this out at a dealer. Thanks.

Morning David, they are marvellous aren’t they? 😀 Having previously owned an Interceptor, I think that based on the power to weigh ratio there’s very little to set the two bikes apart from a power and performance point of view. The lightness of the Guerrilla makes it so agile too. 😀 If you see us when we’re out and about in your area come and say hello or give us a wave 👍🏻😀

@@MerciaMoto Yes, the performance is very similar but the Guerrilla felt more punchy off the line. It's definitely a fun bike, very tempting!

It’ll I’ve thought about how it compares to the Scram, but they really are chalk and cheese. It’s very much a bike in its own vein I feel, I actually think it’s more akin to the Interceptor in terms of power and performance in terms of power to weight ratio. For me, it ticks so many boxes, and will definitely be a keeper for me, but I do say that about every bike I’ve owned! 😀 cheers 👍🏻😀

@@MerciaMoto You were very passionate about the Scram, you quoted feelings not spread sheets. I feel very young and back to my routes on the scram, its all about feeling. When I chose it I looked at a Goldstar, A SV650 and a SRX700 (4 stroke LC) as they were all discounted very well, but my gut said old school.

In terms of Royal Enfield bikes and the Guerrilla In particular, they offer exceptional value for money and their range just keeps getting better all the time. I’m of the view that the dominance of the Japanese brands is in decline due to the value for money offered by the likes of RE and even the Chinese manufactured brands like Benelli. 🤔 this is my 4th Royal Enfield of owned and in all honesty, I have absolutely no complaints! Good morning William, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 😀 I hear a lot of perspectives regarding the dielectric grease causing problems and as an electrical engineer, for me this is not an issue. The quality of the relays is the most probable cause of problems that folks have had. The moisture ingress and corrosion that would occur due to the absence of dielectric grease would be more of a concern. Fortunately the problem seems to have resolved and should it return I will be delving into the potential causes. Hi Billy thanks for watching and leaving a comment 👍🏻 the cafe was pretty full hence no footage inside. It is auto themed even down to the salt and pepper pots being oil drum themed. We each had a full English which was delicious and good value for money around a tenner each as i recall. The breakfast was top quality food, including fresh fried tomatoes and mushrooms with granary bread toast. It’s was very busy which would be expected based on the quality and price. I’d thoroughly recommend a visit and will definitely be retiring myself. 😀👍🏻 Definitely the place to go for petrol heads 👌🏻

Thanks Tim, it was a fun ride, the sun being low in the sky was a challenge. We rode through Stratford on Avon which I cut because this historic and iconic down has been ruined by over development. The way it’s character has changed over the last 20 years is heartbreaking, the bard of Avon must be turning in his grave ☹️Apart from that it was a great ride and the cafe was a great find by Paul. @FelliniMotorcycle, It's not English sunshine it's on holiday from Scotland, just like all the rain you've had recently which preceded the sun. It's been unusually dry and sunny up here whilst you've had our usual downpours, not so much global warming more like the world's turned on its head 🙃😂

Thank you Garry and Ruby, this is a great assessment you've done here. You have exactly described my own experience of the Guerrilla, it's a bike that is just begging take you for a spirited ride. I struggled to prevent it form lugging with needing to keep it below 4k revs. As soon as i had the first service done and I was able to use those extra rev's all the lugging issues fell away and as you now know the bike is just a bundle of fun, I absolutely love it. With me being short in the leg department I don't have any issues with foot peg height but can see how it could be a tad uncomfortable for the non vertically challenged. I could very easily go for very long rides on the bike. I think a Guerrilla would make the perfect accompaniment to Norman and Buddy and had it been possible I would have kept the Scram too, things you have to sacrifice to stay out of the divorce court aye? 🤣🤣 🤣Thanks again for this excellent review! @@MerciaMoto Aw thanks Dave. Good to know that we feel the same way. I can't really get away from what great value it is. It is a lot of fun for the money. No doubt about it. Even if I only kept it for a year, I am unlikely to lose TOO much. I am tempted. Seriously tempted. As soon as I feel comfortable parting with 5k of my hard earned, unless something unexpected happens, I am unlikely to find many better ways of spending it. Hello Garry and Ruby, apologies for delayed reply. Yes, it's always sad to see a bike go, I really loved Stan the Scram and as you say, I hope his next owner gets as much pleasure from exploring with him that I did. There a are still a few more videos of our adventures in Wales together still to come. I am very much an impulsive person and often buy bikes just for the hell of it, much to the dismay of my long suffering wife!😀 You only live once is my moto and life's to short to not make an impulsive decision no and again! So my advise is add another bike to that stable, Buddy and Norman will appreciate an addition to the family for sure! 😆👍

@@MerciaMoto I'll take your advice on board Dave. I am starting to lean that way myself but I also need to keep an eye on my work situation and my likely future earnings. Peter and Dave, Mrs. Fellini (😉) has given enthusiastic approval to a trip to Wales. She says we're free sometime in April and May next spring. She's still employed, and paying the bills, so we travel when she is free to travel. Is there any best time (two or three weeks) in April or May to visit Wales? We'll find a holiday rental and also rent a small car...
