I've seen Jane's group 2x within a 6-8 period this year, just a few weeks ago i see them perform and they're good!!!...... I've yet to see Carl's band as I would love too so I could compare the sounds and her some songs Jane doesn't sing on her stage, interesting.

Saw them last night at Bethesda theater. This is my mom’s favorite group and the original lead singer Jane Eugene was there. It was amazing !!! Wish it could of lasted longer

One of the most beautiful people I ever met. I was the assistant engineer for Phil Harding at PWL. I was privileged to her Desirae Sing Her album. Such an amazing singer. Such a complex existence. I trust your well? Rob calling, I don't even know how Andy is, he plays the bass on this track. Andy Stennet from Freeze, Jazz funk is on bass. I opted out of Pete's studio space, I found it impossible to cope with. But Hey Hoe, life goes on~~~~~~~

I thought they were gonna be huge. I still listen to them occasionally. They had this one song that I loved. I don’t know the name of the song. I remember some of the lyrics as “Because I want, because I need you, can I have ya? Finddle me(spelled it up wrong. I don’t remember). Was an uptempo song. Does anyone remember that song? If so do you know where I can find it???

It all started to go wrong in 1987, just as they'd taken on the big financial commitments with the Berkshire mansion, the recording studio, and the fleet of luxury cars. Their last top 10 single was The Slightest Touch in Spring 87, around the time of the house move. They needed, more than ever, for the hits to continue, but the songs on third album Between the Lines fell way short of the bigger songs from the previous two albums, nothing catchy or vaguely innovative. They put forward a new image of being more mature (country wear tweed jackets for the boys, pearls and pastel woolly cardigans for the girls). I think their young fans were turned off. It didn't help their image that they then spent the next year or two flaunting their wealth as the Royal Family of Pop. And radically changed their look again, with the leather outfits and wild fake hair, and raunchy rocky songs. They had no musical identity at all. And we know that ostentatious displays never go down well. They had no charm factor. This was a pop act that depended on having hit single after hit single. They didn't write or produce the vast majority of the singles and didn't play instruments. Their money percentage would not have been that big - they'd depend more on income from merchandise, touring, TV appearances. But that only works when you're trendy, so it might last a couple of years but not longer. it's a shame because they seemed like nice kids and a good family, and Deniece had credibility as a singer.
