How to make your own all-purpose cleaner
Kitty helping! ❤
I tried this at work with a cut down water bottle. Silly me forgot that PETG melts at a fairly low temperature. Still cleaned the microwave, though. We all know how work microwaves get.
Good call! We use heat guns(hair dryers on steroids) at work when needing to pull and reset labels. I've also bought sticky erasers from Dollar Tree in the hobby stuff area. They work rather well, but require a bit of playing to find a good technique. Otherwise, rubbing alcohol or Ronson lighter fluid gets the job done.
I want some of these nowwwww
I've never heard about this infusion. Thank you for sharing, Gladie.
You are so welcome!
I love the pass to Eleanor Francis. I kind of got excited when the camera panned down and I realized there was a camera person. I know I'm weird.
Eleanor Francis is always behind the camera, filming and editing. We’re a duo. 💕
I love this
I use a 3.78 litre jar (approx 1 gallon) and use at least 12 tea bags. It makes wonderful tea. I put mine out on a sidewalk in full sun. The jar is always lovely and warm when the tea is done. I’ve tried brewing decaf tea too. Works just as well, and I can drink more of it! Thanks for the lovely tip.
What a great family you have there Gladie!
Thank you! I love my little guys so much. 😻
I just rub it on my greasy nose, then scratch it off.😂😂😂
Ty ;)
Lemon juice
Not too bad of a tip, but way too messy. Scratch of the paper with a sharp blade, remove the sticky residue with a few drops of lighter fluid dripped onto an old rag and scrub off. Requires a lot less cleaning afterwards.
You have a baking pantry? How much baking do you do? Is that separate from your regular pantry?
I used a steel scourer and hot soapy water.
My sister-in-law who passed away a couple of months ago taught me this procedure over 40 years ago. I always think of her when I fold a fitted sheet. 💗
Do you have an orange based product called De-Solv-It in your country? Works like magic without the chemical smell of WD40.
That looks like it would be great for salad dressing.
It is!
thinners eats label glue instantly.
Homesense and winners is the worst where they put these labels…
Tips on cleaning your shower glass screen properly
Kids 🤔 I don’t know an kids who want to know how to get jars clean 🤷🏽♀️
All my viewers are my kids. 🥰
@@GladieGivesAdvice 👍🏽 they’re the best 😍
Diesel fuel works also....
I make my own Goo Gone . It really works. It also removes the marker writings from my storage tubs. While packing things in tubs, I label whats in them. Then, when I empty them, I rub the goo gone on, and the tubs are ready for something else.
What’s with the cheesy act? Just give me the tips I’m sure they’re very useful.
Will it remove silly wigs 😂
Do the same thing with Goo Gone; takes a ot 90 seconds plus another 20 for a light wash and rinse.
Gladie, love your vids!! Only watche 3 so far but you are adorable. ❤ Any advice for hard water buildup on faucets? Did you know that if you spill red wine on carpet, you can pour salt on it, let it dry and vacuum it up? No stain!!
White vinegar! Soak a cloth and wrap it around the area, leave it for a few hours and then scrub with a brush and tiny bit of dish soap. If it is the end of the faucet you can also put a little white vinegar in a bag and secure it around the faucet with a twist tie so that the faucet end is submerged. Clean the same as above. Good luck!
I know oil works to remove labels - but extra virgin olive oil !!! What a waste of money. Use the cheapest cooking oil you can find.
funny ive been using vegetable oil for years. put it on, leave overnight, next day wash it off eazy peazy and a little bit sleazy.
Soak it in cold water & dish soap submerged for a couple of hours take an old credit card and scrape
WD-40, paper towel, then wash.
Use WD40 instead. Much easier.
I'm having some rough days and today I've ran into your channel (which I found kinda comforting and joyful). Then this video has showed up and I've thought it would be the right place to leave a comment. I hope your channel keeps on growing. I really like your content and I guess many other people will do so. Keep it up, Gladie.
Thank you, @libervolucion . I hope tomorrow is a better day. Remember, you are doing great and I’m proud of you!
Alcool.
Razor edge glass scraper for the bulk followed by citrus solvent. Paint thinner works also but you need gloves then.
Lemon essential oil works super fast. 🍋
thx for cheese board
Nice wig
Use your highland jig to remove sticky stuff
Wig
Use lighter fluid and a paper towel, Comes of fast no waiting for 1/2 hour, then rinse in sink with warn water and dish soap and dry with clean paper towel........Done !
It's super great to read all the other methods in your comments! ❤
I'm probably ignorant, but what's wrong with Goof Off & Goo Gone?
I’ll try this next time I’m left with sticky residue. My dad likes to heat up the labels with a heat gun or hairdryer or oven and then peel them off cleanly. I always like to gamble and see if I can peel it without prepping 😆
I am thinking it will depend on the type of adhesive, and it is impossible to know what adhesive used. I suspect the ultimate answer, is to have a series of methods (that will not damage the surface) and try one after the other. I know that decades ago, I discovered that eucalyptus oil, usually good, did not work on a polystyrene CD cover, it left a permanent smear. Removing from glass objects is generally much easier.
i want that rosemary sourdough bread!
FBI. Holland. Martha the Slvt. Entitled emotionsl abuse.
Steel wool works too.
How much flour?
Oh my! I need to look that up. Thanks for letting me know.
@jenniferfulcher4305 Three cups!
