Mama had 9 kids to take care of but always had time to watch this show everyday. That music is ingrained in my head permanently. Miss my sweet Mama.

That's the version I remember when I was little. And then the synthesizer and orchestra with a slight rock beat when I was in my teens. Hearing this reminds me of nice, long afternoons with no school all week and being away from sickening people.

Everytime I hear this theme I think of my mom&grandmother,they enjoyed the CBS daytime dramas(soap operas. I miss them dearly.

Oh yes indeed I remember my late mom, watching this soap opera. My mom watched this soap opera religiously., every single day! I just loved the theme song boy that took me back to my childhood! Such a nice memory,!

They were still calling Guiding Light 'The' Guiding Light, if anyone noticed. Even though they dropped The from the title in 1975 they didn't officially start calling it just Guiding Light until 1977 when the Spaulding family was introduced.

back then mostly men on the anchor seat and mostly old men too. Now you have to put good looking younger ladies there.

I was looking for the full parade of 1985 with Rising Starts and Ebonites steel band from St Croix. I was looking for a steel band by the name of Cable TV Youth Musical Express Steel Orchestra of of St Thomas!!! I believe they were formed late 80’s maybe 87, I think year of the song Soca Rock by Imaginations Brass
