I’m a tired 45 yr old full time vet nurse. Who loves astrology/ tarot / music. Takes care of my mom 84 yrs olds and my 13 yrs old cat. Began my soap business back in 2019. Did well for a year. Mostly Etsy. After Covid all changed and I now have a more exhausting vet tech job Stopped making soaps and trying to figure out how to get back into a business again.
That's exactly what I find in business. They want it cheap as possible but best quality and bitch about it if they don't get what they want.

we do care about quality and handmade and if we had the money to pay for that wed absoltley pay for it but everyones broke af so were always gonna go with what we can afford welcome to the fallacies of society complains about shrinkflation will have a shit fit if the price went up despite inflation will complain about a website but wont stop using it hell they probably posted the rant on that site also wants locally sourced handmade organic non gmo free from pesticides cruelty free and also to cost the same as the store brand

@@junebug2005being honest, the material costs alone were probably $150-200 (large amounts of clay, glaze, custom shaped stones, ect) $400 is an extremely reasonable price

@@quixotichippie you improve it after the previous formula is all sent out. Imagine you order formula 1 and get formula 2, that's false advertising.
@@starrynights5855 that's an absurd claim but I'll engage for the sake of boosting this maker (it can't be false advertising when a seller is transparent about changes they're making)... most folx who support and shop from independent artisans understand, expect, and appreciate inherent variance and small adjustments as part of a maker's process... if that's not something you value or enjoy, there are endlessly available mass-produced products in big box stores that you can choose instead
