@@JoeG-mw5ke thanks for the feedback. As for the pools obviously deferent share but relatively at both area they are great. Both have a swim up bar. More entertainment at the one gallery at the pools like dancing , foam parties ect. The beach at the one gallery is nicer but if you like to do some snorkeling, the grand Aston has a great location. The food at the grand Aston was better especially at the a la cartes. The grand Aston has a longer walk to the beach but not a deal breaker for me as I like walking. Thanks again for watching. Sorry you had a bad experience. I also wouldn't go for the simple reason that they do not provide clean bathroom towels each day. As I mentioned in one of my videos, while they were cleaning the room, they put all the towels outside of all the rooms, not knowing at the end if I got my towel back or if it went to the neighbor next door. The food was okay for Cuba, and I had great service at the restaurant and bars, but the worst service at guest services. Thanks for your comment and for watching my video!

@@polinap3062 I would say 1 to 4. The lowest the number like 1 is the closest to the lobby, lobby bar, buffets and a la cartes restaurant.

@@pedro7445-x3d and that’s if you land in Cienfuegos. At first we were supposed to land in Santa Clara which adds maybe an extra hour then at the last minutes they did some changes for us to land in Cienfuegos. It really doesn’t seem that long especially if your there during the daytime as you will see some of the culture while you’ll be on the shuttle.

@ I’m from Ottawa and again tonight we will be having another cold front 🥶. Cayo coco, Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Paredon and Cayo Cruz all nice destinations !!! In December we were in Cayo Santa Maria so we were able to escape some of the cold days

@@izzya2173 thanks for the feedback. Depending on if you want to be closer to all amenities or the beach. I was in bungalow 4 where I was next to the lobby, lobby, buffet and the main pool. @@stevenschindler8342 I did four while I was there. The Italian, Cuban, Caribbean and international. Those are the ones I did. They are located in front of bungalow 3, near the lobby, the main pool and the buffet. Everything you need is located in the main building and the bungalow the close would be 3. 1 to 5 are also close to the main building.

@@stevenschindler8342 there’s no elevators at this location and it’s a far walk to the beach. Yes there’s ramps pretty much everywhere and golf carts to help guest around the property. If you’re thinking about this resort I would suggest bungalow 1 to 5 in the first floor as it’s closer to the restaurants, the lobby and the main pool but farther from the beach. I just came back from the One Gallery. That location has some elevators in bungalows 1 to 7, some ramps all over the property and it’s closer to the beach. @@VandalStreet I do most of my travellings to Cuba from April to November as I don’t pay a single occupancy charge. My girl friend travels with me only twice per year. Usually travelling to Cuba from April to November you can find some pretty good deals. The all inclusive package was 645$ but the week before I could have got it for 529$!!! I just got back from the one gallery with my girl friend and it was 1500$ per person. In my opinion if you can pay 1000$ or less to go to Cuba you’re having a good deal. Where can you for 1000$ in Canada right. Food, cleanliness, service was great. The beach in front of the resort int the nicest but if you walk to your left the beach is really nice. Beautiful beach in Cayo paredon and it will be more beautiful as they build more resorts as the will be cleaning more of the beach area. Some trash on the beach off the resort but nothing in the water while I stayed there. Let me know if you have another questions 🤗

The worst case is roughly at 8% and are in the uncut tours of the resorts because they don’t get to see the rooms. People don’t get that those videos are uncut resort tour and not a room tours. We were at the Royalton roughly two years ago. I believe its next door of the Majestic.. The beach at the Royalton was devastated from the ocean but it looked better in front of the Majestic. Thanks for your comment, watching my video and your suggestion 😀

@@SpaceStationSweets this is a few years ago but no, not while I was there is wasn’t as bad as previous years I was in that area. Cancun area can be pretty bad with some seaweeds at time.

ive been to 5 cuban resorts this year and I really have nothing major to complain about. In September my girl and I went into a 5 start resort in Jamaica "Negril" and it was awful !!! For the price that we paid compared to Cuban it was really not worth it. thanks for watching and your comment.

No as this is a full uncut resort tour and not a room tour !!!. I have a vlog showing the rooms if you go on my channel.

For Cuba, the food was great at the buffet. It seems like Cuba, in my opinion, is improving year over year in terms of food quality, regardless of what you read or hear. You need to go to Cuba with an open mind, as some items might be missing, like eggs. This was my 5th trip to Cuba this year, and luckily I didn’t run out of any items besides eggs in November, and I think one day at The One Gallery. I didn’t have as much luck at The One Gallery's à la carte restaurants. I had better experiences at other resorts. If I compare it to other resorts in Cuba, the buffet was a 5/5, and the à la cartes were 3/5. Thanks for watching and for your comment!

@@gilbert2303 someone commented for the Melia Trinidad the other day, looks like she got a pretty good deal for her and her two kids in a swim out suite for like 3300$. If you’re looking for good deals for singles occupancy they are from the end of April to November. I will be leaving from Ottawa on April 18th and for double or single it’s the same price. I book all my trips off of sell off vacations. It’s easy to use and if u need assistance you can always call them. I rather do it myself but that site in my opinion will give you the best or same deals and it’s user friendly.

@@gilbert2303 if your looking for the most beautiful beaches in the world anywhere where the memories, Royalton, starfish ‘ Resonance’ playa Cayo Santa Maria, Melia las Dunas etc there’s another resort or two in that stretch of beach if I recall, you must go and check it out it’s just amazing. I’ll be there sometime in 2025. I have videos of the Royalton and the playa Cayo Santa Maria on my channel with drone shots.

@the royalton is out of my budget sadly. Grand memories for 800$ but I heard it’s not good, old run down.

@@nogabprevost1238 yes but it’s a golf cart. They don’t go really fast and probably not very far but you can check out other beaches in the area. Usually the battery should last you for the day as long as you don’t get off the island. The cost is 20$ usd. I tried to find some scooters or atv’S while I was there but couldn’t find any.

Hey Ernie, thanks for the support and for watching my videos! The answer to your question might be a little unfair since I was there during the low season at both Grand Aston resorts and high season (Christmas) at The One Gallery. Both The One Gallery and the Grand Aston Las Brujas are better equipped for entertainment. Las Brujas has a huge stage to accommodate guests so everyone can view the shows, compared to the Grand Aston Cayo Paredón, which has a small stage in the lobby. The best snorkeling area would definitely be at the Cayo Paredón location on the left-hand side, probably a 10 to 15-minute walk. The water is very clear, and you can see different types of fish. As for volleyball, I would say at The One Gallery. The beach at The One Gallery is wide and more stable for playing, if you know what I mean. It’s probably in my top 3 nicest beaches I’ve ever seen. The food at Las Brujas was amazing, especially at the à la carte restaurants. While I was there, they were rotating between the buffet and the à la cartes, and I was able to experience Italian, Cuban, Caribbean, and International (or French). It was amazing-probably the best à la carte I’ve been to in Cuba last year. As for the best overall experience, it can always differ from one week to another. When going to Cuba, you always need to go there with an open mind and lower expectations compared to places like Jamaica, Mexico, or the Dominican Republic, just to name a few. If I had to rebook a trip to one of those three resorts, it would probably be the Grand Aston Cayo Paredón. The travel distance is short, the staff is friendly, they have a beautiful beach, the food was great, and it’s a newer resort, etc. I really don’t prefer one resort over another, as it’s always a new experience, and that’s what I like about visiting different resorts instead of going to the same one all the time. As you know my family and I have been to the Dhawa Resort, Grand Aston and Grand Sirenis recently... your video inspires me to choose the One Gallery so we get to stay at the 4 Resorts in a row at Las Brujas ❤ The pools at One Gallery look so inviting..I can imagine just grabbing a cool beverage from the pool bar and lounging...haha. But wait the beach looks awesome too.. I like the colour of the water and the beach is so wide. Tough decisions for 2025 for me brother. As always love your video ❤🇨🇺🏖

Thanks for the support and feedback! While I was at the Grand Aston, I went snorkeling twice, as well as when I was at the One Gallery. I'm prone to being bitten by mosquitoes, but at both the Grand Aston and One Gallery, it wasn't an issue for me, which is rare, probably because it's not the time of year for mosquitoes. The White Sands is a great resort as well. Go to the left of the resort, and you'll find a reef that's really nice for snorkeling. It's roughly a 15 minute walk. If you see a sign that says "clothing optional," don't fall for it, it's not a real nude beach, lol. The full uncut tour of the One Gallery will be out at 11 a.m. this morning, then I'll try to release a vlog for next Friday. Let me know how White Sands was! Safe travels!!!

@@gilbert2303 correct that a little expensive. We were there in May of 2024 and paid roughly 2200$ for me and my girlfriend. If you wait for spring it might be a little cheaper and won’t need to pay for single occupancy if you’re travelling alone. We had the swim out suite so we did pay a little extra but totally worth it. The beach in front of the resort int nice but not too far away there’s the beach of ancon, there’s lots of hiking trails and the town of Trinidad is a must to see. I will definitely go back at some point. The snorkelling in the area was great as well if that’s something you’re into.

I just booked from Ottawa for early Feb. $3300 for me and my two kids for a swim out room. Hopefully you can find a deal!

All booze was included in my trip. I didn’t have any issues having the premium drinks like absolute as that is my go too. Uncut tour coming out this Friday. @@gilbert2303 there is a small gift shop but if your looking for more verity your better going off in town. You can take a bus or a taxi. It’s roughly 15 to 20 minutes away and highly recommended to go and visit.

@@gilbert2303 I don’t really have a favourite but the white sands is nice but far from the airport. It has a nice beach as well. The Royalton in Cayo Santa Maria has the nicest beach of all plus it’s an adults only and pretty quiet. The Royalton in Punta Cana is pretty awesome !!!

@@gilbert2303 check out the Tryp Cayo coco. It’s rated as a 3.5 stars but I had lots of good times over there !!! Another place I had a good time was at the memories Cayo Santa Maria but the Tryp was my best place when I was single.

@@AngelaCasale-x9s that’s one of the downside of that resort, there’s a lot of walking involved as I mentioned in one of my videos. I didn’t mind it but if someone has reduce mobility it could be an issue. Cuba is very safe so nothing to be scared about !!!

@@AngelaCasale-x9s when I was there in November they were doing a alternation between the a la cartes and the Buffett. We had lots to choose from back then. I just got back from the One Gallery and I have to say that the a la cartes were better at the Grand Aston. Have a safe trip 😎🏝️🫶

@@washboardjim for a 5 star resort we were really disappointed. This was my 4th or 5th time to Negril and maybe 7th time to Jamaican in total. The first time for my girlfriend and I wanted to show her what Jamaica was really about as I think it’s over priced in my opinion and she saw that. @@danieldagenais1891 the a la carte at the grand Aston was better. I will explain next Friday in my u cut tour of the resort. The beach infront of the one gallery is nicer than the grand Aston. If you don’t mind walking a bit and probably pay less you’re probably better at the grand Aston. Next one I will be trying is the grand Sirenis in between those two resorts.

@@alexcray999 I was transfer from bungalow 3 to bungalow 11. This happened at the end of November. Someone mentioned about bed bugs but I was find. Just wondering if you were there during that time ??? There’s a lagoon near by which attracts lots of Miskitos. Would that perhaps be the cause ??? The last thing I want to do on here to to miss lead people but when I was at that resort I had great service, the a la cartes were amazing, the Buffet we had lots to choose from but we only had eggs for two days, towels were not an issue. Last week at The One Gallery we have encountered the same situation on our last day. A bunch of year 20 year old arrived at the resort and were extremely loud and annoying. I guess they have those a little everywhere at resorts. While I was a the resort I didn’t see any kite surfers, probably not that time of year for them. @@marcomillette4012 This is indeed rater unusual situation. But will become normal soon. After doing a little more investigation and questioning the staff and other tourists, this is new to accept kite-surfers. Last December there was a group of Quebec surfers that have decided to implement a school of kite-surfing on that resort. BTW, they were thrown out of another resorts the week before for their behaviors and attitudes. They were about 6 or 8 of them imposing their ways. As for the drunks... they are everywhere no matter where we go on vacation. It is usually only a couple of them that are annoying but create chaos for the rest of us. It is really too bad because the staff are great, even the food isn't all that bad for Cuba. The problem is safety and the administration not implementing a safe and secure environment for all tourists. - They seem to privilege the obnoxious ones because they are scared to lose clients. The hotel relies a lot on seeking new tourists and not trying to keep the ones that enjoy going back. Kind of unfortunate especially since the solution is so simple: a. ask kite-surfers to move away from swimmers and have bar-tenders not serve alcohol to people already too intoxicated and loud. In any case, thanks for your reply... We will go back to Cuba for sure but will shop around.

@ something I dislike is when the locals comes to the resort and basically just invades the buffet. Staff don’t do anything about it as most of them are friends and family members. Most of them have no class or respect for others. Hope your next trip will be more memorable Safe travels 😎🏝️🫶
