Melia Trinidad Peninsula " Visiting The Town Of Trinidad"

There was an excursion that Sunwing provided for $48 USD per person. I strongly recommend that you book the excursion and then take a taxi to visit the town on your own. The reason I'm suggesting you book the excursion first is because they will show you the tourist attractions, giving you a good idea if you want to explore them independently. You may get hassled by locals for money and to buy their offerings. To be honest, the locals are not dangerous but can be a little annoying at times. The town of Trinidad will transport you back to the 1800s to 1950s; it's really beautiful and you shouldn't miss visiting this area. I wish I had more time there, maybe next time.
My next trip will be on July 4th, 2024, heading to Cayo Cruz at the Sanctuary White Sands.
