Yes, Haruna its the shortest member of the band.. but is not 4'10" (that is Asami) She is an 4'9" full of power. Midori, 4'11" Miyako and Fami 5' 3"

I live near NYC and made the trip to the three shows outside of Atlanta and it was worth the effort. The airfare and hotel was not that expensive the worst cost was Uber surprisingly. San Francisco only held 320 people, and the stage was tiny but what great shows.

Song is great example of BAROQUE (1600-1750) music sound (composition) in Modern Times with modern instruments. They are not only talent, they are much more, MASTERS of MUSIC and LADIES. NO "vh" (small letters) can compare with LOVEBITES.

I went to see Lovebites at both the gigs they played in London last summer and got to meet them at the New Cross Inn. SSS was part of the play list for the second gig at 'The Garage' . I regard them as one of the best bands I've ever seen live since I first started going to gigs in the late 1960's, I put them alongside the likes of Rush in my pantheon of 'Great Bands I've Seen Play'. Thank you for reacting and supporting this wonderful talented group of young women. 🐺

I was at ProgPower in Atlanta. I was lucky enough to get there early to be one of the first ones to enter to get merch and an autograph. All the Lovebites merchandise sold out within an hour of opening the doors. A ProgPower employee said that the autograph line for Lovebites was the longest they had seen for any band in the 15 years they worked for PP. The line went out the door, down the street and around the corner of the block. I was one of the first in line and the ladies were so friendly and all smiles when I got to meet them. It was awesome. Unfortunately Asami skipped the autograph session to rest for the show due to not feeling her best. She apologized to the fans later. But she put on an awesome show as did the entire band. Lovebites was THE MOST anticipated band of all the bands there that weekend. They brought the house down with their show, lots of energy and audience interaction. It was a phenomenal night.

The rock world is old and conservative. Young heavy metal bands like Lovebites have a hard time becoming known all over the world. Lovebites has to pay attention to expenses and therefore cannot come to every big city in the USA and Europe. Very difficult situation. If you wait until such bands play in your neighborhood you will never see them live. I traveled with 4 other people in Germany for 3 days to see their concert in Lindau on Lake Constance. 🤘🤘

That is the key word of any of Ren's music: a story. Ren tells a story in each of songs whether they are personal related or of other people. Canada had Gordon Lightfoot and the world has Ren!

I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction. ~~~~~~jAN 01, 202~~rEN~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own. The voice was distinctly different to mine, and always negative. It would self criticize or urge me to do things I knew to be morally wrong. The most peculiar thing about the voice was that it took no effort on my behalf to produce. My own thoughts always felt like there was a process that required effort to bring them to the forefront of my mind, this voice appeared as though it was spoken by another. The sentences felt predetermined like they had already been constructed. I remember very vividly at 9 years old, becoming very frustrated with the voice. I stood in my back yard, internally screaming at the voice to be silent again and again, and it did. In a flash there was silence, to the point where my head felt like an empty room. I wasn't used to the quiet and that voice never returned. It almost felt lonely in my head. When I got older I had intermittent bouts with auditory hallucinations where I would hear perfect symphonies, usually at night when drifting off to sleep. They were so clear that they sounded like they were emanating from a radio in the corner of my room. I knew they weren't there, but for some reason they never came with the feeling of fear. I also recall sitting on a bus at the age of 15, and hearing the sound of a crowded room, with about 100 voices chattering away, I was the only person apart from the driver on the bus. These experiences were always very brief, and few and far between. My last hallucination was during an intense bout of psychosis in 2015, and was my first visual hallucination. I was walking down a pavement after jumping out my mums car in a crossroads in a moment of frustration and distress with my condition. I was trying to run from myself. What appeared to be a homeless man with a dark complexion approached me, and asked me what was wrong. I explained that I had been sick most my life, and I wasn't sure I had the strength to continue. He looked at me, and smiled and told me 'everything is going to be okay in the end Ren.' I had not told him my name. There was something so overpoweringly sincere about this very simple message, which brought with it an overwhelming feeling of inner peace, and in a flash, he vanished. My rational brain always linked these experiences to what the doctors have told me, that there are parts of my brain compromised by the autoimmunity in my body. That the myelin sheaths surrounding the complex electrical system that conduct my thoughts were damaged and compromised, causing these lucid experiences that I knew did not exist inside the physical world. The part of me that edges away from logical and rational thought always attributed these thoughts to some kind of otherworldly intervention, that made my thoughts the battleground of some spiritual tug of war. For a long time I never really acknowledged this part of myself, for with it brought the danger and stigma of sounding like a crazy person. I decided with my latest release, to the best of my ability, to capture and express this chess match of thought. Hi Ren comes out in just over 24 hours. I can't wait for you all to hear it.

Man, I really love conservative Christians because they seem to have the ability to create daughters who are complete freaks in the bedroom. As an atheist I feel I need to thank conservative Christians for this.

Yes, sir. He is truly an artist. An amazing artist & a man with a huge heart & massive strength of will. The story of his illness, pre-diagnosis, is just a horror (Listen to his 8 Chapters @RenMakesStuff.) & it's been no picnic since. It isn't unimportant that he comes from a poor family & he had no money for doctors for either diagnosis or treatment. Many of us contributed to a Go Fund Me to get him to Canada the 1st time. He says he's financially stable now. After almost 2 years of treatment to try to mitigate/repair the damage to his body & brain from 7 yrs. of undiagnosed Lyme's disease, he returned to his base in Brighton, UK, he had his 1st concert in 8 yrs. Just a few wks later, he was told that he is again testing positive for Bartonella bacteria associated with Lyme's. He was already experiencing returning symptoms & he collapsed during a recording session, was in the hospital for several days. His symptoms included the loss of vision in 1 eye for 2 or 3 days. He has now returned to the clinic in Calgary.

Any suggestions that you would like to see us react to? We may start putting out polls using these suggestions and taking the winner of the poll each time we get together to record.

Lov'ya guys! I highly recommend Ren's 1 million subscriber thank-you speech. Its a little bit more of an insight to Ren's way of interacting with his world. It will resonate through every Ren performance you see. I look forward to seeing lots more of Ren from you old birds (from a 65-yo old bird himself).

Ren has never really planned a tour. He just got back to Brighton from Canada a few months ago. He had finished 1.5 years worth of treatments for his Lyme disease and its co-infections. Which involved IV’s 5 days a week, and brain training. Trying to create new neural pathways since his are damaged from being ill for 13 years. He found out that he still had Bartonella bacteria in his blood after he was back. Ren always pushes himself too hard and while filming a video pain in his eye became so bad he had to go to A&E. His autoimmune had turned on his left eye. He’s now home resting, and pretty much knocked off his feet while adjusting to changes in meds. He will be headed back to Canada for an undetermined amount of time. Keeping in mind that Ren had already been through 2 stem cell transplants around 2016. He’s had it rough. All he wants, is to lessen the pain he has to live with so he can continue creating music. He understands he will never be completely free of pain. The Lyme did to much permanent damage. A lot of Renegades have similar issues as Ren. I’ve been sick for 20 years. I’m home bound and can barely get around. My organs have been damaged by my autoimmune. I subbed for Ren. This should be fun guys!😉❤️

He taljs about all the tendet topics and believes in countrr culture. In these days, that means finding common ground and respect.
