I am married to a British woman. Do I have the right to apply for citizenship after 3 years or should I wait?

How did you prepare in terms of registering as a sole trader etc? Or did you start via an agency?

Congratulations on becoming a citizen. I've applied for mine last month and waiting for hopefully a positive outcome after living in the UK for 24 years since i was a child. Knowing that hopefully the only the country i know to be my home will also be the country i hold citizenship of is super nerve wrecking but seeing your ceremony already makes me feel super positively emotional that itll be me soon. Once again many congratulations on getting through the process

Pharmacy isn't good for people who don't want to work in challenging environments. Those who want easy work and lazy aren't suited for this tough and challenging but rewarding profession. Some one need to be so humane and hold social values to be a responsible pharmacist or pharmaceutical chemist.

Dr. Pham, thank you so much for sharing! I am currently considering pharmacy school at age 30 YIKES but I am becoming more and more skeptical because as I do research I keep seeing re-occuring themes which revolve around burnout. On the flip side, I have spoken with a few pharmacists that seem EXTREMELY happy with their work environment and work load. I obviously have no experience being a pharmacist but it sounds like you've worked in a variety of settings but you just havent found that perfect one yet, keep trying! There are so many areas of pharmacy and to be honest... I've worked quite a few different jobs outside of the health field and one of the things that make a huge difference other than work load is working in a healthy work environment (working with nice/caring people). You need to have a good support system/group in the workplace. But whether you decide to pursue something else or stick with pharmacy, YOU GOT THIS!

Congratulations Linh, you deserve it, I've lived in Portugal for over 20 years and I'm only 25 years old, and I'm still not a citizen. 9 months ago I applied for my citizenship but I'm still waiting and it will probably take about 2 years total maybe a little longer. It was a mixture of bad luck, my father's irresponsibility and also injustice on the part of the Portuguese government, I've even been to the supreme court for minors and some involved even wanted to send me to my country of origin even though I didn't know the language or friends or anything because I've lived all my life here in Portugal. Despite everything I thank God for everything because these situations make us stronger and many times that's how we learn and grow.

And thank you for sharing your experience, I've done all the steps and paid everything and I'm waiting now for the answer from the home office it's been 6 months now and I still don't have a email or a letter. So my question is how long have you waited after your biometric appointment to become a British citizen?

30 is an awful rate, never worked for less than 45 emergency 50-55

do you get quite a lot of emergency shifts? it seems like you have a good strategy! I may try implement it into my diary!
