Maybe in the red war arc the Speaker could have been in a critical condition almost dead and he was waiting for the Traveler to help him but nothing happened, so the Witness showed the Speaker that the Traveler and the Light are not good and she brought the Spokesman to her side. I believe that perhaps we will see some guardian or ally corrupted by the Witness becoming a disciple, being able to have light and darkness if he is a Guardian. I think some of our allies will side with the witness

But, there was a soaring bird in that cutscene. Which means it was probably a flash back/dream sequence. I don't think it's an end campaign cutscene.

I mean the speaker theory may be a stretch but I still think that they have to have something about him in TFS we just had a reveal showing a warlock exotic that is a near replica of his mask. These two lines are what I feel like are probably the most interesting ones.( excluding his amazing roast towards Ghaul)"Until the traveler wakes and finds its voice, I am the one who speaks for the traveler."(D1). "Ghaul, i said I spoke for the traveler…I never said it spoke to me."(D2) It would make sense for him to still play a part in the story considering his strange relationship to the traveler. But that’s just me winging it so I could be just spitting out nonsense. If we don’t see the speaker or at least get a voice line I’d be a bit disappointed at such a missed opportunity for such a big (near) forgotten character.

I am almost fully certain that the other name blotted out near the witness is a dissenter from the original plan. If you notice, one of the mission titles as well as one of the OST titles is “Dissent”. This implies to me that there’s some kind of dissent among the ranked of the witness - possibly the penitent member in the collector’s edition.

The speaker thing is further than a tin foil hat haha. The similarities between The Witness’ species and ours I think will lead more toward giving us an answer to why The Traveler chose humanity after billions of years of fleeing. I imagine it could see the similarities after spending so much time with the precursors that it wanted us to be the one that proved The Traveler was right. Kind of the opposite of what The Witness is doing. It wants to turn us to disprove The Traveler its stradegy everytime. Choosing to stand and fight is a new strategy for The Traveler, both during the collapse and during our guardians story. I have a feeling we may get told that humanity is the first species either have encountered where transcendance is possible. We have both paracausal energies. Even Savuthun asked us in Witch Queen why we can use both while everyone else is confained to one or the other. Fantastic video as always its fun to hear your ideas!

You talking about all the guns having an important figure to Cayde on them reminded me, where's the one person arguably most important to Cayde Andal Brask at? This is where I theorize that the 'Still Hunt' sniper rifle was originally Andal's. The one piece of concept art we have of him has him posing with a Sniper, presuming that because 1. It's concept art and 2. The sniper looks very similar to most legendary and lower tier snipers such as 'Supremacy' and 'Beloved' maybe went with a new look for it. This would make sense if it is his Sniper tho because it has the ability to activate Golden Gun shots, Andal Brask was a pretty renowned gunslinger hunter.

Yess yess exactly! Thats what I have been saying for months. A very unique beginning to D3 will be that when we create a character we would have the option from Cabal, Fallen, Humans, Exos, Awoken to start the new game with. Other races only time will tell since the Destiny lore is huge! Huge!
