we bought Jujimufu's home gym equipment!
Most people have no clue how I fill a 180,000sqft warehouse with gym equipment. Well today we give you a little insight as to where some of it comes from.
My good friend Juji called me and said he had a practically BRAND NEW set of Panatta and Elite FTS that he was looking to part ways with. As the seller, it's necessary that it gets sold all in one go to reduce the amount of time and headache needed to show the stuff, move it around, and spend time negotiating payment.
That's where me and my team come in. We take all of the equipment as a set to reduce the stress of whomever is selling it.
And if you are interested in purchasing this set, it is NOW AVAILABLE. Hit up my phone number below!
Shoutout to Juji, he was an amazing guy and a event better host! Follow him on Instagram at jujimufu?hl=en

revealing the costs of PROPERLY OUTFITTING a gym
Переглядів 1,7 тис.14 днів тому
I get asked this question HUNDREDS of times per week: "Steven, how much does it cost to open a gym?" Most people just think about the cost of equipment when opening a gym but in reality it's the other "stuff" than can end up costing WAY MORE! In this video I break down those other "things" and how much they have costed me and my clients in the past. If you've ever thought about opening your own...

    While I don't have a massive post frame warehouse in my backyard like juji... i do have a 2 car attached garage. I used to lift in my teens and early 20s until I completely destroyed my knee while in the navy. I then went on a 9 year "bulk phase," haha. About 6... going on 7 years ago i finally got back into lifting again. Unlike before in my teens/early 20s (2000s) where i just.... lifted weights somewhat following workouts in muscle mags.... this time around i had UA-cam. Which actually got me into Powerlifting. Been using my garage exclusively for these last 6-7 years most of that time just Powerlifting/powerbuilding. But as I'm on the cusp of 40 (about to turn 39) i find myself enjoying more bodybuilding style workouts than Powerlifting workouts.... im getting old. As such for the last 1-2 years I've done more powerbuilding/bodybuilding style workouts, but recently decided to just go full bore into bodybuilding. Goal is to look the best I ever gave by the time I turn 40. As such I've been buying more machines. No friggin Panatta grade equipment (i wish) but I've been going the bolt fitness and fettle fitness route. Why am I sharing all this? Because I'm relieved juji said pretty much what I was thinking/did subconsciously. Of the 8 machines I ordered... about 6 of the 8.... are leg machines. I too feel like one doesn't really need ANY machines to build a killer upper body.... but when it comes to legs..... i feel like the only way one can put on any noticeable size is via machines. Squat variations and lunge variations.... are pretty much all one can do with freeweights for legs. Nothing wrong with that.... but those are all pretty much going to be HIGHLY taxing compound movements for the legs. Meaning you're likely never getting your legs to true failure as the odds are either another body part will be your limiting factor BEFORE your legs truly get spent.... or your "fatigue" will be your CNS tapping out.... not your muscles. Worried about the quality of equipment I'm getting. I've only tried fettle fitness' pendulum squat.... and for the price it was WAY more solid and sturdy than I thought it would be. A majority of Fettle's stuff looks like Hammer strength stuff.... just with "fettle" slapped on it instead of "Hammer Strength." I've never tried bolt fitness equipment stuff though.... crossing my fingers. What i should have in my gym come mid- late January.... Fettle Fitness: Pendulum squat Seated leg curl/ leg extension Chest fly/rear delt Pullover machine Bolt Fitness: Their Outlaw Hack/Leg Press combo Adductor/abductor machine Seated Calf machine ..... and then in also ordered the freak athlete hyper pro..... mainly for the ghd capability and the back hyperextension capability. I also got tree powertec multi press. Mainly do I can do machine shoulder presses and decline to incline chest presses..... and I got the leg attachment to do lying leg curls. No juji home gym..... but it will be glorious.... and tight, haha. Good news is I'll be done buying gym shit.... i will literally have no room for anything else. Again... just glad I'm not the only one to come to the realization/ conclusion that... one DOES need machines.... but really only leg machines. You can definitely build a JACKED upper body with just free weights. That.... and I can't wait for the hack/leg press combo and the pendulum squat to get here... so I can finally say adios to HAVING to do fucking back squats. I used to LOVE doing squats. It's such a chore nowadays.

      Awesome stuff! If you have the space, try to hunt down a GHD/Reverse hyper combo for cheap, around me, there are a lot of "Rogue Donkey" copies that don't sell for a whole lot ~ AUD 500. I have the ATX equipment very similar to Powertec but if I'm to be honest they're much better. ATX used to be the manufacturer of Powertec back in the day! They'll be coming to the USA in 2025 but possibly not if the tariffs slaughter them. I have a force USA power rack, soon to be replaced by an Ares 6 post-functional trainer in the new year - ATX Hack Squat/Leg press - ATX multi gym (Lat pulldown, Low row, lever squat, FID bench/row station) - ATX Trinity Tower (copy) - Deadlift platform - Life Fitness Treadmill (My wife uses it) Shopping list for 2025: - Power rack functional trainer (like Ares 1.0) 2.0 is too expensive here - Leg extension/Leg curl - ATX Roller belt squat or if I have the space I can get the lever belt squat for like half the price ~$1200 savings. - Adjustable dumbbells, probably Ironmaster - If I start getting strong again some heavy dumbbells found some beautiful chrome dumbbells 60kg-75kg (132 lbs-165) for cheap as chips but it would probably be cheaper to just upgrade the ironmasters. After that I think I'm tapped out for a room, it'll all be about storing equipment away, if I can fit a freak athlete hyper pro that would be ace and a reverse hyper/GHD. Of course, I also have the paint the gym, install some new downlights, acid wash the floor and build a couple of lifting platforms for the squat rack and deadlift area but after that it's just about adding some cladding to the walls, mounting my wall control panels and filling up all the space I can haha.

    Interesting video. However, it makes more sense to me to buy 16 affordable exercise machines from Temu than to buy one expensive exercise machine from a luxury brand, and I did.

      @@superfitnessgymequipment The problem with any exercise equipment is, no matter how good it is, is the problem of muscular accommodation, which is when muscular endurance, size, and strength gains stop if you do the same exercises the same way with the same exercise equipment too long because your body will eventually adapt or become accustomed to it. This is why it makes sense to have many different types of affordable exercise equipment so exercises and exercise tools can be rotated. Vladimir Zatsiorsky, who wrote the classic text on strength and conditioning, SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF STRENGTH TRAINING, and the late Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell Club, who wrote WESTSIDE BARBELL BOOK OF METHODS, both warned about the problem of muscular accommodation. This raises the issue of what a reasonable person would do to avoid the problem of muscular accommodation. IMO, the solution is having many affordable ways to achieve muscular overload, which includes with barbells, dumbbells, exercise machines, kettlebells, resistance bands, and exercise tools that allows the user to use air resistance, grip compression, magnetic resistance, overcoming inertia (e.g., flywheel strength training), and even overcoming gravity (e.g., pull-ups, dips, and push-ups). As Miyamoto Musashi, who wrote THE BOOK OF FIVE RINGS, said, "There are many ways to the top of a mountain." This includes by climbing it instead of being dropped off by an expensive helicopter.

    Great video! A new video suggestion would be to rate the various gym equipment brands, A to F tier. For example Arsenal is a hot new brand, but how are the biomechanics and durability? It would be great to hear your opinions.

    The world needs more old school gyms. No lunk alarm, no pizza day, no aloof desk clerks that rarely look up from their phone, or customers sitting on machines staring into a tiny screen.

  • @bobcaygeon975
    @bobcaygeon975 9 днів тому

    I really miss the old school gyms in the 1980s. All of them have folded to the big purple monster, where people pay $10/mo. to sit on plate machines staring into their phone. I found an old school gym in Key West, tons of free weights and balloon dumbells, no air conditioning, just open windows.
