I just want to tell you how important your videos are to some people. I currently volunteer in Ukraine and because there’s been significant damage to the power grid in the country, we get scheduled outages daily. Tomorrow there’s 14 hours without power in my area. Getting any power station here is much more difficult and expensive than in NA. Your videos helped me choose a right device to buy (I went with a Delta 2 + smart battery) and I couldn’t be happier. I had an electrician modify my breaker box so now I can safely plug the station in and have power in the whole apartment. Having the WiFi router, fridge, lights and some fans running during the outage feels like a huge luxury, given the circumstances. So I guess what I’m trying to say is: thank you. Your channel may be small, but it really matters to some. It matters to me.

"The point," for most people is - Will it power a frig and for how long, and/or, will it power a room AC unit or fan and for how long. That's really all we care about in a power outage. What is the minimum PV voltage it will take in? Like will it work with 3W 7V PV to charge the Battery?

Doesn’t the solar panel need to go through a charge controller before going into the power bank?

In your previous Video on installing a solar panel in an inclosed trailer you connected the panel to a charger without a charge controller, which I thought was wrong. Don’t they have Lithium batteries in them? Also, don’t they need a charge controller?

Im not a smart man Jenny but shouldn't it be a 10 amp controller rather than the 30 advertised? I learded the gard way that 2×4's are NOT actually 2×4 and here o am again. 30 amps actually means 10,lol!

This is the kind of video i needed but only answered half my question. Where do you find things to run the load on? For indtance lights and small fans that have the red/ blk wire to connect in. Or do we have to cut/strip wires and manually do it? Ive trued searching amazon for dc load lights but havent really come across much besides like small van lights/ for music stuff.

Here in Ukraine during the war with russists we use EB3A to power wifi router + fiber optics module to have internet and be able to keep working during russkies-caused blackouts. It also helps to keep my water boiler up and running in winter cold weather😊 .

Perhaps somoene knows, is "GEL" setting proper for a real GEL battery? In this setting for some reason, the Float voltage can not be set more than 12.6V, which is kind of low. Also, what about equalization? In the manual, equalization voltage is specified for all three types of batteries. Should not the "GEL" setting turn off the equalization at all as in many other controllers?

Ok , so i took a "cigarette plug adapter" and wired it into the load , so my load in now powering a cigarette socket , into the cigarette socket i plugged in a 75 watt power inverter which is so small that it doesnt have a cooling fan , and therefore doesnt waste much juice when its on. And it also has 1 USB socket and into that i plugged a USB powered light bulb , so when you turn on the load it also turns on its own work lights , so u can see the top of the battery and front of the charge controller and everything else one might want to check on at night. Thank you for explaining to me that i only had 120 watts to play with there ,,,,,, that could have gone badly otherwise lol . The 75 watt power inverter is also just enough to run my modem all night if i wanted to get my laptop running to find out why my power went out.

add a lipo4 12,8 v 50Ah and you would add 600Wh to your EB3A !!!!!!! 12,8v x 50ah= 640wh

Wow. I only got 4 1/2 hours refrigerator time from my Delta 2! I'm not happy with it at all. I also bought just one EcoFlow 220W Bifacial Portable Solar Panel. When I hooked it up, it told me it would take 28 hours to charge up the unit. I understand 220W is just a fraction of what the unit will take, but I was hoping for better than 28 hours, lol.

During the part in the video where you point out your Bluette has 10A on the DC5521 ports vs. EcoFlow’s 3A ea., but the EcoFlow Delta 2 is superior to your Bluette in the fact that all (6) USB/USB-C ports are on its own circuit whereas it sounds like yours has the USB on the same as your CarCarger & the two DC5521 ports? Besides that, you can get those “Cigarette Lighter Power” adapters for USB-C ports running at 5A.

My Delta went to 0% at 7pm. The solar panel did nothing so I eventually plugged my fridge back to the house by 3 am! :( when the power was restored!

My controller doesn't display "0H"but does display "00". Unfortunately, when it is set to "00" I can't get the output to turn on. I am trying to power a small 12V, 6W fountain pump during the daytime only.
