    Beautiful recording wow it softens the part in me who are terrified of being homeless the parts in me who have no capacity to hold it together to not loose everything and end up all alone on the street…. Yet as I am writing this I notice so much fear in not having a safe warm private space for myself ….

    Thank You! I greatly appreciate your depth and specificity with what and how you share your supports and wisdom. Plus, being a wellness coach for many years, it is clear you have done your research and have great knowledge on the aspects and responses of food in relation to our bodies and experiences. I would love to know your feedback in relation to eco-anxiety, eco-stress, and grief. I am someone who loves nature very much, and nature connection is a big part of my life, and has supported healthy regulation and well-being over the years. Nature has been my sanctuary. However, in the last few years I am experiencing the paradox and contrast of knowing and seeing what we are doing to our planet and nature, which seems to be activating and more stressful these days, then regulating. The more aware and attuned I become, the more traumatizing it sometimes feels with what I witness and experience. I am slowly building capacity to presence and allow my body to process it all within the varying elements and emotions of experience. I am also called to more and more activism, both subtlety within my inner landscape and for the causes near to my heart like forest protection. I am doing my best to navigate a healthy, honest balance within these challenging times, yet what do you suggest is truly harmonizing and supportive? How do I stay true to my nature and connection, along with inspired action, without getting too caught up in the fear, urgency and grief that goes along with participating more fully in the challenges the Earth is currently facing? Its a fine line between spiritual bypass and positive, inspired presence and action that comes from my desire to serve the greatest well-being of the planet, and not from resistance, fear and pain of all that I am seeing. I appreciate any nuggets of wisdom on this heartfelt topic...

    I have known this intuitively on some level, but this brings words/education to what I have sensed for myself about when I eat breakfast. Thank you. So, I am wondering what you might recommend for how to schedule my breakfast and morning workouts..??? I don’t like to workout too soon after I’ve eaten, and I also am not sure I can always be done with at workout within an hour of waking so that I can eat after, not to mention working out on an empty stomach might not be good for adrenals in the first place??? ..weird that it feels good to me to work out on an empty stomach, though, as long as I workout and eat soon enough after waking. Anyway, thoughts?….

    • @holisticlifenavigation
      @holisticlifenavigation День тому

      Just don’t caffeinate upon waking and you should be fine to workout and then eat breakfast. But if you have anxiety symptoms then I would eat within an hour and reduce the workout + move it to another time of day. Just to experience how it affects your nervous system

    Hi! I usually start my mornings with a short low intense 20 min run before I eat my first meal, would you advice against it of my goal where to not activate my adrenals first thing in the morning?

    • @holisticlifenavigation
      @holisticlifenavigation День тому

      Only if your body has a hard time regulating stress. I do a 20-30 min run almost every morning and then I lift weights and then eat. So my morning is quite adrenalizing but I didn’t start that way. I did what I recommend in this video and then my adrenals repaired so nicely that I can do this and not have issues throughout the day.

    Love your content as always. Question about psyllium husk- is it necessary to drink it dissolved in water, or do you get the same benefits in capsule form? (In general, not necessarily specific to fasting, but also would there be a difference in either context?) I’ve been incorporating psyllium capsules daily for a few months now. I’m no longer *intentionally* intermittent fasting.. basically I easily go long periods sometimes forgetting to eat, & definitely notice a spike in my stress response so I’m trying to get better about that.. everything you speak to on the detrimental effects of skipping meals when already in an over-adrenalinized, stressed out state makes so much sense & definitely is my experience. I can feel my body go into a fight or flight/survival response.. so I try to keep healthyish bars or mixed nuts handy. Not the best, but I really struggle with skipping meals, & staying on top of meal prep so I try my best to avoid eating junk but not starve 😅 **a suggestion for future content- quick, healthy meals/snacks for on the go when you don’t have time to prepare a meal. I’ll definitely be incorporating your upgrade here to my overnight oats, & I’m thinking hard boiled eggs with the beans & greens would be a quick work around. Thanks Luis! 🙏🏽
