I thought of doing one but it's very boring. I don't do anything special and I feel like my gear is not usually what people have (I used 5 star outsdier, 5 star mayfly goggles, 6 star shelterer)

No, it doesn't. It just gives a bit of weapon damage for a bit when it spawns a tentacle (every 5 seconds). Bullseye debuff is applied by other players with doombringer, bingo, wildfire, etc. and your secondary wildfire weapon at the very least.

@@gundyrr6634 not really since i'm so far away. shadow wolf debuff doesn't stack with other player's shadow wolf and I don't have level 5 one. The possibility of overwriting their stronger debuffs with mine would be detrimental to everyone.

I have precision calibration on wildfire. Wildfire also has high innate weakspot+crit damage so you want to be focusing mostly on increasing weapon damage and damage vs great ones on mod substats.

@@hiraplol I've been mostly focusing on weakspot and been ignoring critdmg huh, guess Ill have to mix match and see which one gives me more of a boost in my current build thx for the feedback! love the build

@@w0otk1d weakspot and crit damage are additive to each other so it's fine whichever you get. You need to balance the total of those 2 stats with weapon damage and damage vs great ones. Edit: it doesn't matter if you have 0 crit damage if you have a lot of weakspot damage but you also need to balance that with weapon damage and damage vs great ones.

@@hiraplol in combat with three strike mod active i have about 200% weakspot and about 130% weapon without the three strike weakspot about 150% and weapon still around 130% (all this with no dev and food buffs), I guess i need to farm better mods

@@w0otk1d You can try work with what's available to you first and ensure you are getting the most of what you have because mods are RNG and controllers are a limited resource. You have high amounts of weakspot and weapon damage and I don't know what set you are using but i'm assuming it's something like renegade +bastille which is fine. If you are using Seasoned Hunter Leather Boots, consider switching to Earthly Boots which is free and the blueprint is looted off a mystical crate. For food buffs, mixed fried hotdog should give you more which gives you a total of 100% increase to your "Damage to" multiplier making it on par with your other stats without any additional from mod substats.

There was someone else, their name was MiMOSA. But in all seriousness, this server has a pretty low population and this was done before peak hours.

Multipliers from other players such as their level 5 wolf and butterflyu really do that much if you have a good base damage to go off off. This boss in particular has a high innate multiplier to his weakspot when downed, which you can test by using fateful strike and look at the damage difference between hitting his head and his body. Mini Feaster further increases my base damage but only for a little while. He spawns a tentacle once every 5 seconds by default and triggering bounce will spawn additional ones with a cd of 1.5 secs. I can only make use of the default one. Blue Mod Gives me comparable damage to a good power surge mod with double gold substats, which I do not have. 9% crit rate increases all damage done by about 18% and power surge +20% if we assume that 15% of my damage comes from that (which in reality is probably less because prime wars/servers seems to hate consecutive and fast procs) will increase total damage by 3-4%. Of course the access to better substats can give more significant increase but I deemed that I should save my controllers to farm different mods since I can use this on multiple weapons and builds. Legendary Armors are actually better and I would probably use them If I get them from the roll or if they become cheaper. I weighted the slight damage increase that they give (Lonewolf set, for example) vs their starchrom cost and my desire to try out different weapons and decided to go for different weapons. If you only plan on doing certain builds, going for these sets might be a better choice for you. There are lots of other players that deal more damage than me and have builds that do more than this one. I'm just here to showcase these builds and people can improve upon them as they wish. Sorry for the wall of text, I'm just trying to help out people.

@@hiraplol what setup do you think would be the strongest for the burst? I have any mods, any gear. Now im testing Heavy Style calibration...I can't decide what's best. In my opinion 3 lonewolf + 2 falcon (5 stars) is the best choice for PW...need more tests. I dont understand why you use Momentum Up. Why not Fateful Strike?

@@sanyasamosval I guess 3 lonewolf + 2 savior or 4 lonewolf + 1 bastille, replace Mask mod for retrusion explosion, Precise Strike if you can get triple damage mods would be and a triple gold triple damage body mod is BiS. It also depends if you can stack lonewolf before shield breaks. Fateful Strike is a good second choice if you had good substats roll which I don't have. Weakspot and Crit damage is additive to each other so fateful strike would take away the 15% innate weakspot damage of the Corrosion shotgun which would give Fateful Strike 10% crit strike and 15% crit damage and it's up to your current stats if that's more valuable than 36% weakspot damage or what momentum up can give you (which is essentially 5% fire rate and 15% weapon damage per clip).

Yes it will... if I had those. I was focusing on rolling for weapons to make different builds.

around 40k? this is because I don't have damage vs normal and most of my gear has damage vs great ones that do not reflect on dummies and I take advantage of multipliers that other people can give.

no. tap R after each shot. This gun has a unique reload animation where you reload 1 bullet each and you can cancel out to shoot. Similar to the DB12's but they shoot twice in succession while this is only single shot.

cradle is pretty straightforward, get all weapon damage/fortress warfare stuff, long range enhancement, and master tactician+deviation master

pistol mod is vuln amplifier and melee weapon i have no idea, just stick any random mod there. they won't affect damage when not in use

to keep first-move advantage mod and tactical combo buffs up. Edit: If you are asking how, It's a unique mechanic to this gun that it reloads bullets 1 at a time and you can cancel the reload to shoot. Add that with lightweight calib and some reload speed.

in a prime war? if you have a level 5 lonewolf, use that. Otherwise, use mini feaster. Debuffs are global so you will either overwrite a stronger buff or just refresh duration of an existing one.

I don't have them. I used my starchrom to roll guns. If I wanted to stick to one build, those sets would indeed give more damage.

They basically give the same bonuses and you're normally don't take damage in prime wars but the real reason is that my Covered Advance mods have worse substats vs my slow and steady mod. I would use covered advance if I had better substats

it is but rapid in our server is like 500k minimum with bad stats. also the atk- is too detrimental for how much damage scales in prime wars. and the less chances of reloading, the better because of the reload lag/bug in prime wars.

I just checked my loadout. It's 54.6% crit rate, 149% crit damage. 10% crit rate from mask mod if they are marked and another 15% from food buff.

yes this is hard mode server. I think you can make all weapons work and are close enough in damage that you can do whatever is fun for you. But I do recommend in having multiple options because sometimes your main weapon is bad for a specific Silo/Monolith's weekly mutation.

@@hiraplol Thanks for the reply. I was trying to get icy rain to work on my novice server before the switch comes. I have all the appropriate gear incl. 3pc Lonewolf. Just need to farm better mods. I have gear for shrap scar and corrosion surge, just wanted a 2nd opinion

It's 3pc falcon 2pc scout and earthly boots. I moused over the mods at the start so you can see. This setup is slightly different from the Prime War video to optimize damage. If you are going for Silos, you want damage vs elite as a 3rd stat and if you want to focus on Prime Wars you want to go damage vs great ones.
