Onan Marquis Gold 5500 Generator Shutdown with Error Code 47 or No Error Code!! Free Fix to Get By!
Working on my Onan Marquis Gold 5500 Generator that would shutdown after an hour or two of running depending on outside temperatures. Sometimes it would show error code 47, sometimes it would not show an error code at all!! I go over what I found and give a free temporary fix that will get you back up and running.

I happen to be starting my Onan Marquis Gold 5500 generator in my 5th wheel from the outside when I heard debris flying around and could smell burning rubber. I pulled the generator out and disassembled it before I decided to make my first UA-cam video showing the repair steps. So it starts off with the generator on the bench showing the failure.
