Onan Marquis Gold 5500 Generator Shutdown with Error Code 47 or No Error Code!! Free Fix to Get By!

Working on my Onan Marquis Gold 5500 Generator that would shutdown after an hour or two of running depending on outside temperatures. Sometimes it would show error code 47, sometimes it would not show an error code at all!! I go over what I found and give a free temporary fix that will get you back up and running.

No joke. Especially with little kids in the trailer... I'm currently expanding my solar system, so by next summer the generator will have to run even less.

🤔 hmmm could you wrap it in a heat blanket and still have it mounted in the og spot?

I thought about something like that.. It might not show well on video but there really isn't a whole lot of room in that area to do much of anything.
