      I’ve made some progress. Mostly trying to figure out what I think is truly like to make. Been leaning towards making more solo-play and gm-less oriented content. There’s already so many amazing TTRPGs out there but I think I could do something interesting in that space.

    I played one scenario over a month with friends earlier this year, and it was quite good. As much as I love CoC, this is definitely a game I want to get back to the table again later this year.

    So, I'm around minute 6:35 and you notebook looks a lot like a calendar book. I buy two or three calendars a year year and use them approximately zero times. How is this better than a calendar book? It must be because you could just buy a calendar.

      It’s not necessarily better. I’m just sharing my process and what is working for me. The bigger point is to try things and develop a system that works, then be consistent.

      Hi! Thanks for being here! That’s a good question. I don’t see why you couldn’t, but I honestly don’t know what all of the logistics of it would be. Best thing to do would probably be to try and get a literary agent to help navigate those waters.

    Hi Mr. Regina! After struggling under analysis paralysis for years, I'm finally starting to create my own comic! One big thing's stopping me, though - I'm not sure big to make my digital canvas (like pixels/inch) or how big to make the margins between the panels and the edges of the page (I think clip studio paint has a tool built in for this, but I'm using Autodesk Sketchbook Pro which unfortunately doesn't have those templates). I haven't found a conclusive answer for this really anywhere else online, so I thought asking someone who actually had a graphic novel published would be a good idea.

    • @Michael.Regina
      @Michael.Regina Місяць тому

      Hi! Thanks for being here! To answer your question, there really is no set rule in this. For gutters between panels, go with whatever feels right to you. For margins on the page, it depends on how you aim to print it. The best advice i can give you here is to look at some comics you like and do some measuring on dimensions of the page, the border around the edge of the art etc and copy that. Then add an additional .25 inches to the over all size. So if your comic will be printed at 6x9, make the overall size 6.25x9.25. Make sure it’s at least 300dpi in the computer. Hope that helps and best of luck!

    I've been not quite playing solo rpgs for a couple of years. I haven't really figured out a good flow. I've always been good at notetaking, later discovered that this was ADHD. It's an interesting mind shift, play sessions as outlining. I would always go all out, use up all my dopamine, then burn out quick.
