@LoganSkeele, 2027 will be the 45TH Anniversary of the classic 1982-86 ABC/CBS crime drama series “TJ HOOKER” starring William Shatner. Now, there’s a second season episode titled “THIEVES HIGHWAY” wherein dozens of owner-operators are up against an organized thug named Alan Tanner who runs the produce company known as Six Star, and he’s more than bound and determined to buyout all of the owner-operators and monopolize every semi truck he possibly can. Now, one of these trucks in question is an International Transtar II cabover with the lettering of Zack Pappas & DTR General Trucking painted on the cab doors. Sadly, due to the sabotaging of the brakes by a Chicago hoodlum named Vic Keller, this truck bursts into a huge fireball. Meanwhile, Tanner has other tricks up his sleeves like setting up Zack’s daughter Mary to be ambushed by Vic Keller, especially when accomplice Don Morgan spills the beans, and Tanner tries to take Police Commissioner Cook as a hostage, but surrenders as soon as he realizes that if he kills the commissioner, only then will he go to the morgue with the compliments of Sergeant Hooker. Then it’s just a race against time as Keller has now taken Mary Pappas and the family’s pet orangutan Venus hostage, and in the process he proves to the commissioner that sometimes a law enforcement officer needs to use a chokehold to get a suspect to surrender to avoid the confrontation with the trial board to explain allegedly unnecessary shootings in spite of the alleged statistics that say otherwise about the chokeholds. Eventually, Tanner is looking at life without parole with Morgan booked as an accessory both after and before the fact while it’s also proven that the former owner of Six Star Produce had been murdered by Vic Keller on Tanner’s orders, which gets Keller the gas chamber all because the three of them happen to be defended by Richard Bay, future Assistant District Attorney for the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the 1997-2004 ABC lawyer drama series of “THE PRACTICE”. Thus, not only does Commissioner Cook find out just exactly how wrong she was, but she realizes that we must go through times when officers of the law have to forget about going by the book in order to avoid potential blood baths. Now, just to be on the safe side, feel free to check out the episode in question via a complete series “TJ HOOKER” box set on DVD, and pictures of the International Transtar II cabover semi truck used in the episode can be found at www.imcdb.org on its “TJ HOOKER” page, just in case we need some proof to possibly persuade DCP to make a 1/64 scale model of that truck with an unmarked 40’FT Great Dane reefer trailer?

@LoganSkeele, I don’t know if you remember the tv series “CHARLIE’S ANGELS”, but in a 4TH season episode titled “ANGELS GO TRUCKIN’” in which cargoes where being hijacked by the manager of the company, and when Charlie sent Tiffany and Kris to pose as new drivers while Kelly was undercover as a waitress along one of the routes used by the company, which in the storyline of the episode proved essential. Plus, the truck of choice for the company known as the Venus Trucking Company was the International Transtar II 4070 cabover, and I think that maybe DCP should be giving thought to making a 1/64 replica version of the truck that was in that episode of the original “CHARLIE’S ANGELS” needs to like ‘get on the bandwagon’ as the old phrase goes. Just giving them the recommendation or suggestion wouldn’t hurt nothing, and the same thing applies to thinking about it as well.

I wonder if we can buy water slide decals for these?

Hello, can you do a series on moving companies like North American Van lines Mayflower Allied back in the 60s 70s and 80s but with the single axle tractors most moving vans were single axle tractors with the drop frame 40,42 or 45 ft Kentucky trailers or 35ft single axle Dorsey trailers with the iH tractors tranStar and old series international VCO 220 V8 gasoline engine Sleeper cab Thanks Alistair Hafer

My uncle Fred ran a large portion of Consolidated Freightways for years, so it’s kind of cool to see this truck after he did that he ran I think the western hemisphere for Sealand trucking.

Like the IXO Trucks, have 5 of them now, the 2 Peterbilt 281, the Kenworth K 100 Aerodyne in red/white, the Kenworth Bullnose in tan/red and the GMC General in black with gold Stripes. Think the price/quality is unbeatable, here in Germany i have to payy 33€ for each. 1st Gear/DCP is not available here, buyed some Neo Scale Trucks at a German Modellcars Onlineshop for 25€ each at a Sale Off. The Neo Scales are really good, but you have to be very carefull with them, better dont touch them, i broke off many parts and have to glue them back. Hope IXO will do more Trucks, even some Classic european Trucks and lots of Trailers. Greetings from Germany.

By the way New Penn motor Express was the shining star of the Northeast everyone looked up to New Penn and everyone wanted to drive for New Penn and when I started with new pen we were the highest paid truckers in the industry even above UPS and with the highest pension credits and benefits package it was only when yellow took over and started sucking all the life force out of new pen that we began to falter. Before yellow got a hold of us we were the most profitable LTL in the Northeast operating at an 80 which represents 20% profit margin on each dollar

So only a few seconds into the video and already he's made a huge blunder. Yellow Corp purchased rodeway motor Express and purchased USF Holland USF right away ramire new pen and many other companies making it by far the largest freight carrier in the United States. Subsequently they managed to ruin every single one of those companies with their horrible management at yellow I especially like to blame bill Zollars who now sits on the USPS board of directors and is running the post office into the ground

We had a prototype 795 sent to our mine (Newmont Phoenix) in Battle Mountain, Nevada for testing. I spent a couple months testing and running it in normal production. I've spent 30 years in mining operating a wide variety of haul trucks, but the 795 was by far my favorite. In one test I was asked to run it down a long 8% grade fully loaded in full dynamics at 35 MPH. Just about smoked the grid box but after about a half hour cool down with a water truck standing by, I fired it up and put it right back into production. From that point on we limited the downhill top end at 27 MPH, still amazing, incredible down hill dynamic holding power. One of my most favorite features was that the dashboard was a very low form factor so the forward visibility was with a doubt the best of the myriad of haul trucks that I've driven...

nice truck.i have one.these models have come along way since the old winross models.those were big bucks w/o much detail.hard 2 believe those were top of the line in its day.

I'd really like to love this rig but the cab roof is too flat and the visor looks tortured! Such a shame because otherwise it is excellent.

NEO makes incredible models very hard to beat. Resin or diecast makes me no difference, detail is what I'm after. Love the NEO.

We had an 1949 Chevrolet 3/4 ton truck. That truck with the creepy gear did a lot of farm work.
