Nice hotel

I hadn't been into Birmingham for quite a few years, but I did visit a few weeks ago. Didn't go into China town, so I found this interesting. I went towards the town hall and was very surprised by the improvements that have been made. Well worth a visit 👋

I used to walk around both lakes ,the big lake is port vale's first ground and the entrance road is on the north staffs loop line there's still two rail sidings in the trees between the lakes .nice to see burslem and Westport on film .

I still remember these old songs and how they touched my heart as i drove MY truck back and forth across this country for 45 years .and often wondered how could he know what it was like to be a trucker .someday when i get to that big truck stop up stairs I hope to meet him and shake his hand and tell him thanks for thinkin about all of us old truckers
