    I do everything in Lightburn tho. I love the free apps and LaserGRBL has amazing scripts for image conversions, but lightburn is worth the money.

    hello kindly I bought a sculpfun s10 and I'm using lasergrbl without problems but I don't know how to do something by chance a wooden keychain with the engraving and the final cut of the piece with the appropriate hole to put the iron circle as it is done thanks settings

      As far as cut settings I do not have any experience I've only use this for doing engravings as far as for engravings I have found best way to get it zeroed in perfect is to have a few test pieces and just engrave a small spot and and adjust as needed mine is a 5.5 Watt and I keep it set on 100% and only adjust the speed on laser gerbil like for pine I found that 1,000 works best but with something like cedar or poplar I actually go up to 2000 something harder like oak or walnut 1,000 to 1500 seems to do the best so far the plywood that I have used has worked good from 1,500 to 2,000

    Nice work man, it turned out great. I noticed in the final pictures you stained it, and then painted the lighter colors. Are there any good tips to know about adding paint to stained wood, or vice versa? Any problems applying the stain with the black primer?

    • @splinterfingerswoodworking8995
      @splinterfingerswoodworking8995 2 роки тому

      I recommend that you put down a coat of clear coat before starting your detail painting and if possible try not to stain where you will be detail painting. As far as staining over the black primer it doesn't hurt a thing it will actually help if you miss a small spot with the black primer it will help it blend in more
