I'm a novice to AKC conformation, am learning how to groom my poodle, and this video has been an amazing wealth of information. Thank you!
EXCELLENT tutorial! Thank you!
My goodness, how clean praise and accurate you are. You really know what you are doing ! Kudos to you xx
*precise .. predictive text !!
Look T the bone on this girl. Absolutely beautiful representative.
Awe she wants your attention 🥰
She stands so pretty
I use my hair cryer on cool is that ok
Oh my gosh she’s beautiful
I can't hear a thing with the dryer on
Best video on trimming a poodle's face!!! (didn't have to do his feet this time round) Have watched quite a few videos on trimming a poodle's face and just couldn't get it right. In this video Julie simplifies the process and it works! So quick and easy and unlike the dog in the video my dog doesn't sit still. The only thing I did different was use a No 10 blade (1.8mm). Anyway, thanks so much!
Beautiful 😊
Julie is the best teacher/demonstrator. 😊. I watch this video, and another poodle vid she made, over and over again.
I have learned so much from Julie and I come back and rewatch her videos and learn more everytime. I can never hear what she is saying while drying which is do funny and I know Julie realizes this. I have done this too in video making dog food, talk while blending something. This is my favorite poodle person on UA-cam. Now see that ear technique, I keep forgetting to try that, thanks Julie!
This groomer blows my mind. Look at her lines omg.
Awesome I can remember the entire trim you are an amazing instructor "
What a beautiful dog! Thank you so much for this video. You are an excellent teacher and I picked up quite a few tips. I love this cut. It’s so easy to maintain and looks so cute.😊
does she ever get praised for standing still for grooming
Standards poodle is absolutely the best dog
Oh my goddess ❤❤❤
Poodles are the best❤ I have standards poodle too. He is amazing
In the UK they’re not supposed to spray up but everyone does openly
Extreme look 30-40 blade: ears/back of tail. Otherwise 5F: ears and back/tip of tail #1/Orange comb: top line - just past withers to before base of tail, back of hind legs (pin bone to just above hock) and inside of hind legs, reverse comb for tuck up (to elbow) O/Yellow comb (A comb if longer/2 for pet trims): below ear to point of shoulder then skim, body/chest - withers to tuck up, shelf avoiding base of tail, also armpit Remainder is scissor work with Julie’s directions!
I am putting my 1 year old girl in a continental. I am not sure where I should stop her jacket at. I measured her today she is 2 feet long breast bone to pin bone, she is 2 feet tall from floor to shoulder. I’m afraid of making it too short and having to wait for it to grow back in. Any pointers would be great.
Beautiful pup! Very informative, thank you!
I always like to re watch and refresh on how to do such a nice job that Julie demonstrates.
Such a beautifully relaxed dog.
I think this is similar to the sporting clip minus the ears being shaved and tail. Thank you!
Excellent video. I always like to refresh before grooming . Thank you.
Using this for the trim I want on my boy but not doing the German tail and ears as he doesn't quite have a face for that. Has great ears.
Love this look! Very clear video
Beautiful! 31:48
What kind of pillow is that for her chin?
One from “ Pants for dogs “
Your work is amazing, love the European cut on this beautiful poodle!
I keep reviewing until I get it right. Im enjoying grooming now as a hobby since I don't have to show my kids any longer.
I like your clippers. I’m no longer a groomer so my clippers are my old A5. I like the cordless
What a good girl bubbles is.
New novice groomer have 3 clients letting me to practice my trims with There poodles and one doodle. Can I use thinners instead of chunkers. I am still saving for chunkers and blenders. I have curves straights and thinners
What the brand of your stand dryer.? I couldn't hear. I have a standard poodle, too, so this video is very informative. I am sure Jupiter will appreciate that I have found a new way for faster drying and removing his curls.
I always feel for the poor dogs having to endure this standing still for a long time to get the “ perfect “ cut.
I feel bad for the matted neglected dogs that don’t get groomed on a regular schedule that never get brushed or taken care of and have to have their matted coats shaved off right to the skin or endure hours of dematting tugging and pulling at them…… feel bad for those dogs……
Great ❤ thanks
Razor burn. So many get razor burn. Beautiful dog.
oil your scissors they squeek so bad, probably irritating to the dog
Ok, I’ll be sure to do that 😅 thanks for the criticism
How did you do the ears?
I bevel the bottoms of them with curved shears :-)
How long does the fluff normally last?
Depends on humidity in the air, and if the dog gets wet or not :-)
Thank you for sharing this guide! Can't wait to try this out
How old is this poodle? PLEASE!
When I did this video, she may have been around eight?
I may have missed it, but what blade is she using for the face?
Thank you very much for the video and all the information. I love the result. You did an amazing job. ♥️
What size blade? I know you use the 2 comb.
These wonderful doggies put up with so much -- what angels :) Great shearing too!! :)
