This floor is absolutely deadly. Tight halls, large numbers of enemies with mini-boss leaders, they have keen smell, security abound, etc. I can't remember what the reason was for doing this mission before installing the disco ball was. I'm still looking forward to the day. And I love the "Squeegee Died Here". I really wish they had continued to leave markers on the map for fallen Club members, but I understand that Matt would feel left out. This floor would be highly decorated. Good stuff guys. I'm dreading that I'm 20 episodes to up to date. Guess I'll start Dolmenwood after that or try another Arden Vul actual play someone mentioned, Arden Vulgaris played in Shadowdark, which I'm also interested in how it works for that system. I keep hearing of all the different ways AV can play for groups, so before I try it one day I'd like to see some of the permutations. Last thing on a too long comment: I've been shilling you guys around reddit a good amount haha. Dnd discussions where people are wondering how to implement XP besides combat (link em to FoX), how do I keep searching rooms interesting, what's your favorite actual play that's not just the comedy ones (which are enjoyable in their own right), etc. Anyways, keep up the good work and happy delving!

Six of Nine is close to Seven of Nine, a Borg character from Star Trek: Voyager, a human girl who was assimilated by the Borg as a child and then was found by Voyager in the Delta Quadrant, and then rehabilitated to mostly human status and much of her Borg stuff taken out. The Data equivalent of the Voyager series.

i watched your videos on Dolmenwood and I had to check out your site and game play. can you explain the house rules for your Dolmenwood game? Did you allow OSE material like classes and kin in the character creation process? if so how did you go about changing the hit matrix for those classes. I plan to run a Dolmenwood campaign, but I have never done anything player driven like this and it scares me.

I would also like to encourage my players to burn usage of thier scrolls, I've checked the house rule in the (awesome) web site, but I'm not sure if you are ruling: 1) That MU can copy spells from level appropriate scrolls, but can cast spells from scrolls of any level; or 2) That MU can only copy spells from mentoring or other spellbooks, and scrolls can only be used to cast from them. spells from scrolls

Matt, glad to hear that you brought up the beastman children. Does the party feel like they would save them and hind them away from the Goblins?

Also, I was wondering if a mid level Cleric of X switched to a different deity, wouldn't that cause disfavor and rob the cleric of abilities? I feel like you get powers as a Cleric by working for your deity/alignment/religion and if you were to disavow your OG deity that could come with some dire consequences, like starting over at reduced levels, because the new deity hasn't had all that good work for him to give good favor to the Cleric. the Rules Tome indicates that disfavor is a real possibility after all, and what could be worse? Maybe it would be a different degree switching between various deities, if he's switching from one Lawful to another Lawful maybe that's less bad than switching between Lawful and Chaotic, perhaps.

Massmorph is in the Classic Fantasy Rules Tome of OSE, it's Permanent but can be dismissed. Moving thru it things are deceived it and it IS vague about how it works. What it says is "a force of human sized creatures is veiled in illusion to appear as a copse of trees or an orchard". I think it was perfectly interpreted Jon.

Nice talk about the Clerics roleplaying with their Deities. One fun thing about the setting is that due to a lot of the levels you've explored so far being part of a religious centre/temple complex of sorts, it seems to be quite cleric' oriented in a way. Other religious classes, like the druid per example, don't do ever so well. (Poor Lisabeth doesn't even have many options of animals she can befriend down there...maybe a baboon?) I do wonder however how a Paladin would fit in all of this. That would be interesting to watch!

Forever-invisible Wulfhert reminds me of that prank where a roomful of people makes a kid (or gullible adult, I guess) think that a parlor magic trick has turned them invisible and they don't know how to make them visible again 😅

Gents loved the discussion about playing Clerics. I agree with Jon on the fun a DM can have with the players of Cleric characters especially with such strong deities in AV. Great job fellas and I hope you guys all enjoy your weekend activities (more time to re-watch episodes planning for my groups delves into the Halls!) Please give Elvis a great big head scratch!! Hopefully he is better at house training than my frenchie has been!
