We had some big storms that brought down a giant set of limbs from a red oak tree. We cut it up and move it away from the road to use it for firewood and rabbit habitat...rabitat. Have a great day and be safe.

No deceased or injured horse shown!!! Our friends had a horse pass away and they wanted him buried behind their barn next to another beloved horse. There is a lot to respectfully burying a horse and it is a lot of work. It takes a huge hole and some heavy equipment. I was so happy to be able to assist our friends in this task when they needed the help. This was the largest hole I have ever dug....
Learning to Grade w Case 450C Bulldozer

Abandoned John Deere Cuts Off-Grid Property

We use the abandoned John Deere MX10 to mow the off-grid property. Huge difference in a 10' cut and an 8' one. It was a little awkward in tighter spots but made up for it in the quality of cut and fewer passes overall. We absolutely love that old Interantional 1086 with the air-conditioned cab! We have been using this 80 Volt Chainsaw from Harbor Freight for 3 years now. We use it for small jobs like removing limbs and even smaller trees from the roadway or on our property. The deer kept eating our rose bushes and flowers, but we love having the deer by the house. We put in a rock garden using our Deere, replacing the flower garden. Hope you like the video. I was raised on those red tractors,times have changed and all I own is green,but,I love the sound of those red one.Nothing sounds like those Farmalls.I want me an old 1066 like dad had..
We had a 1486 for 25yrs. Learn how to correctly use the TA. NEVER, and I mean NEVER throw the TA down if you’re running wide open. Dad taught us how to use it correctly and never had to replace it. Our hired hand was fired on the spot the second time my dad caught him doing this.

Between the cant hook and the peavy...nothing beats a grapple. Hehe, cheater. Pallet forks work too, as does a Mini-ex with a thumb. Now that I'm an old fart and can afford the cheats, I'd have to agree. If the grandkids don't grow up to become unskilled phone zombies they'll be spoiled. Good vid.

A new chainsaw will be on the horizon if you keep using ether to start chainsaw. Utilizing the choke should suffice in starting. A complete rebuild of the carburetor should remedy the hard starting.

OMG. Taking off the shields off the PTO. You are looking for injury and or death.
Thanks for watching and your comment. We don’t plan on riding on the cutter while it’s cutting. Honestly believe those shield make people think those shafts are safe so they work around them. I prefer to be safe by turning everything off instead of just feel safe because a piece of plastic covers a shaft. Now on an auger or elevator that you have to be around while it’s running absolutely have that shaft protected but a cutter, naw. Thanks again. Have a great day, be safe!

good video and job the older one are easier to fix than newer one. main thing is to get all the seals back in the right way and to oil the orings and seals before installing i have done a few and put a seal in wrong before. take care, be safe and well.

Growing up we called it Farmgenuity , Farm Ingenuity , if it’s not working we’re gonna find a may to make it work. And as for those guards. People just need to use common sense and stick body parts or anything there not willing to have damaged near spinning things.

We totally agree that it shouldn’t take a guard to keep you from getting hurt by a spinning shaft on a cutter. I have the same saw/model that i bought on sale @ 3-4 years ago. I built a mobile off cut table around it that has my router on the other end (48"). Love the saw but hate the fence...its not accurate. Been searching for a UA-cam video for an upgraded fence that will fit this model Hercules.

10' buffer between water and land and no straight access to the water angle and double back, no run off into the water. Your buffer is in the water, Cattails have an amazing ability to absorb phosphorus, nitrogen and other elements that may harm natural water bodies and sediment beds.

Buffer zones (sometimes called no mow zones) prevent erosion and runoff. Farmland next to a pond. Nice overhead shot of Alge and weed growth along the shore. Surface runoff is the unconfined flow of water over the ground surface. When rain falls onto the landscape, it doesn't just sit there and wait to be evaporated. most of it flows as surface runoff. agricultural runoff is the leading cause of water quality impacts.

Worst compressor Ive ever owned. Way too slow to recover. Takes 7 mins just to fill from empty. less than one star rating!

I have the 1025R and 60” mmm. Ideally, I’d like the option to mow with my 60” mmm regularly and have the duals as I do have some hills upwards of 20 degree slope. Do you know how much removing those rear deck wheels affects the cut quality? Has your buddy mentioned any issues with the cut quality of the mmm since removing those wheels? Appreciate any feedback!
Thanks for watching and your comment. I will have to ask him about the cut quality. Those are the anti scalp wheels so that might be an issue. You should be able to just remove the wheels since they are a replaceable part and mow that way and see if your cut quality is effected before permanently removing them to mount duals. Bill uses a 72” finish mower off the back but keeps the mmm deck to use as a step to help him get on and off easier. He is 82 and loves mowing and is very particular about his yard. I spent a large portion of my younger days on the back of a tractor and put on and took off so many implements I couldn't even begin to count them so it seems second nature to me. That MX will last forever if you take care of it. In time you will get the hang of it and then wonder how something so simple is so complicated at the same time. I prefer the clutch to the shear pin I used to carry pins with me all the time. Take extra care under the cutter so that rust doesn't get started and pay attention to the blades. Don't let grass get stuck under there just wash it off good. I even put rust inhibitor on mine and it looks like new. A penny saved is a penny earned sounds dumb but it's true. Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you. I am going to subscribe.👍

The internet can be considered mean. I believe that it is necessary. This whole video was very close to an example of natural selection. Take warning labels off and things would sort themselves.

The pto splined connection needed to be scraped free of rust and greased.Small wire brushes help to clean the splines as well.A common problem for the situation.You figured the ball locks out.Obviously they hold the shaft on,its a safer design as the old pin style caught garments and killed lots of people.The collar you say does nothing is a safety item too plus it helps keep grass and such out of the lock assembly.The shields keep vines and tall grass from winding up on the shaft and of course people too.Dont hammer on the pto shafts.The IH 1000 RPM PTO inner bearing housing is thin and will break,not sure about the 540.Then you need the whole rear PTO housing and they are tough to find around me.Id say you had the wrong hydraulic hose end.The IH ones can be tricky and possibly full of field dust. The other style is pioneer.There are IH to pioneer adapters and they work well. I had a 886 that was stubborn,full of fine dirt from where I got it . Not too bad a rotary mower ,ten foot is nice plus drag along type is nice if you get stuck .The shields can be bought and reinstalled too. After a little use it'll be limbered up and work well.Grease it after the final use of the summer so it's lubed up to sit til next summer. Get out of the tractor cab The reverse of the way you climb in,less likely to fall as bailing out forward is. Looks to be a pretty fair IH tractor.

@@CopperBarnHomestead The hydraulic line won't pop apart if the hitch pin comes loose or you forget and drive away. It'll tear something up should those happen so it needs the quick release holder or some such on the hydraulic connection. Costs add up in a hurry with hoses and lines getting destroyed so it's best to do something about preventing such.
