Tohatsu 20 Boating Adventure & Drone Fail Recovery
We took the Tohatsu 20 with our Jon boat onto the river and had a lost drone due to flight fail on our river adventure. We did a search and recovery for the lost drone taking our adventure in an entirely different direction. We started out to explore a section of river we had never been on. It was beautiful but cold and then when capturing some drone video our drone unexpectedly took off on its own. We searched for and eventually recovered the lost drone and were able to salvage the video from the wreckage. Because of the unplanned search and recovery, we were unable to complete the original adventure, but we will be back. Thanks for coming along and we hope you enjoy our adventure. Have a great day and be safe!

Tohatsu 20hp Jon Boat Prepped & Ready for River
Переглядів 829 годин тому
We get our Jon boat ready for the river by working on the Tohatsu 20hp 4 stroke motor and adding some seating. These Millennium Marine boat seats are awesome, so we added two. We haven't had this boat in the water in over a year, so it takes a bit to get ready. We will be adding a Bimini top as well for next time.

Bobcat T250 Working on Homestead
Переглядів 24414 днів тому
The Bobcat T250 does work on the homestead. We made some covered parking areas ith gravel to stop tracking millings into the house. We also spread some millings under the bass boat and finally spread the remaining gravel in our driveway. This old machine is such a blessing on our homestead and honestly not sure how we got along without one.
Apple AirPod DIY Hearing Aid Review
Переглядів 30321 день тому
Apple Airpod Pro 2 with hearing aid feature is reviewed by normal blue-collar worker with mild to moderate hearing loss. Years of sirens, chainsaws, and pews have taken a toll on my hearing. It became difficult to follow a conversation in loud areas or distinguish a single voice in a room full of people talking. I didn't really want prescription hearing aids and really couldn't afford them eith...
Vulcan Migmax 215 Hobbyist Welder Review
Переглядів 63621 день тому
Hobbyist Welder review the Harbor Freight Vulcan Migmax 215 welder. This is like the Titanium Easy-Flux 125 on steroids! Flux core welding on 220V is amazing. Then we hook up the C25 gas and do some solid core mig welding. We purchased this welder because of the 25% off coupon Harbor Freights Inside Track Club had and that made this $675 my Hobart welder was $1200 and there definitely isn't tha...
DIY Ribbon Drive Installation
Переглядів 22628 днів тому
We build a ribbon driveway using our dump trailer and some creativity on this DIY project. We think it turned out real nice. Ribbon drives save on material costs as well as preserve greenspace down the middle, sounds like a win-win situation to us. Have a great day and be safe!

@@svDrakus thank you! Appreciate you watching and commenting! Have a great day and be safe!
You are killing me with the bump start. Strike off about an inch walk it back
@@hamtrucker thank you for watching and your comment. That tip actually helps a lot, still learning and working on my arc welding. I do mostly mig and still learning that. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
My guess is, the Peavey you have is sized for slightly larger wood. I know Logrite makes at least two bigger jawed cant hooks.
@@bikeracerdude thanks for watching and your comments! We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
Great video thanks for posting I learned a ton
@@cornettric thanks for watching and commenting. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
I used to love using the titanium 65 plasma welder but now I'm gay and for some reason I don't want to work with steel anymore I just want to work in a retail store and tell women how beautiful they look in the fitting rooms I'm getting and I'm happy I'm so happy I'm no longer a plasma cutter or a welder cuz I'm gay and I'm happy and now I love men and I can't get over men sometimes I want women but more it's mostly men
Thank you but you're covering up the best part how you actually mounted the hooks to the ceiling this is the most important part and it's not visible
@@aperson1181 thanks for watching and your comment. We have a metal ceiling in the barn so I used the same self tapping screws they used to put it up along with a nylon cable holder and a link of light swag chain to mount the lights. Sorry I didn’t get that shown. The lights are pretty light and won’t get hit in my application so I am confident that will hold them. YMMV, we appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
good video all i have is wood heat. and a out door wood boiler. take care, be safe and well.
@@johnwoody4905 I would love to have a outside wood boiler. Just wasn’t in the budget when we got here. Thanks for the comment, have a great day and be safe!
What type of oil goes into the final drive?
@@wesleysingleton5626 thanks for watching and your comment. I used gear oil 75-90. Thanks again, have a great day and be safe!
did you add extra torque for the extension length? you're supposed too
@@JohnBraman413 thanks for watching and commenting. Hadn’t heard of that but kinda makes sense now that you mention it. Do you know the amount to add or is it a percentage or something? We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
should look into versaturf tires. they give good traction.
Thanks for watching and your comment. We actually added a set of those when putting duals on our neighbors 1025R. They do work well and look cool too. Here is a link to that video. ua-cam.com/video/uoiNF96WDWs/v-deo.htmlsi=sh2cxcu0CRgayIxS
You can polish a turd...but its still at turd.
Agreed but this $30 dollar one does as well as many above that price point and none of those have stores in every town that you can walk in and exchange it for a brand new one. Ymmv but I love it!
A Chinese carb that works out of the box without adjustment sorry but i dont believe it.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I might have hit the lottery on that but not only did it do exactly that, it is still working perfectly today. Have a great day and be safe!
stupid is is stupid does duh duh duh, read the instructions geeeezzzzz!!!!! what a stupid reason to return helmet , its not the helmet , in your case it was you , duh der der duh duh , hillbilly jim
Slow down I have the 45 and can clean cut 1/4 on 30 amps if sparks are coming back up at ya, you’re going too fast

what brand of carb did you buy
Thanks for watching and your comment. This was one called NICHE on Amazon. I have seen them on eBay also. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
The foam padding is a piece of junk it fell apart in a matter of months replacement part is expensive . never buy one again.

I liked your vedio its nice to see some cotent from someone thats not already several years old will be looking forward to seeing more

How do you tune that carb?
Thanks for watching and your comment. It has an idle adjustment and air screws. I honestly didn’t need to do anything to it though. Just put it on and it has run perfectly ever since. I definitely hit the lottery on that one! We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!

Looks like fun
@@judyaldrich9487 it was a lot of fun! So beautiful also!
Sounds great but make a demo of using it on a big truck rear wheels set where the rear tires are two with the stems pointing to each other as it is really cumbersome to inflate the outermost tire with any "inline chuck" ...... and I want to stay away from the dang thing when it is going with 60+ PSI !
Thanks for watching and commenting! That would be good to see, I don’t have any wheels set up that way. The grease nozzle locknlube has does have a 90 degree adapter but I haven’t seen that for the inflator nozzle yet. Thanks again for the suggestion, we appreciate you! Have a great day and be safe!

The magnet is so you could wireless charge it.
@@yeet2640 thanks for watching and your comment! That makes sense, I didn’t have much luck charging my phone wirelessly, I think it was because of the Otterbox case I use. Thank you for the tip! We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
@ it might be from your case. But are you using the correct wireless plug? The iPhones wireless charger might work to charge airpods if I’m correct, but an Airpods or Apple Watch wireless charger cant charge iPhone
@ thanks for the tip, we will check that out! Have a great day! 😁
I prefer keeping them in the case. Quinn did a great job on the case and it's great being able to have the set mobile.
@@541-RAIDER thanks for watching and your comment. The Quinn case is a great holder for the set. I needed these in my toolbox in the garage but was still able to use the case as the organizer in a drawer. That worked for me better than any other socket organizer. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
It sounds like a 4 stroke
good video and job did really well. after doing body work and dry wall i hate sanding. Maggie is really good .take care, be safe and well
@@johnwoody4905 thanks, I agree with you sanding is a horrible job! Luckily for me Maggie doesn’t mind it as much and is talented at it. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
The hercules sells now for about 379, with no stand. The dewalt sells for 649, with stand.I dont believe the slight difference in savings is worth not buying the dewalt.
@@John-p2o8g thanks for watching and commenting! You definitely have to compare these at the prices they are at the time you are going to purchase them. For us the Hercules was the better value at the time, if purchasing today maybe not as much. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
I bought my MigMax a couple of weeks ago with the 25% off coupon too. I also find that the synergistic mode is a little hot for my taste but haven't really tried to find the correct settings in manual mode. I never found that sheet metal guage either, but haven't lost any sleep over it. Thanks for the review.
@@bryanthornton6787 thanks for watching and your comment! The gage was in a little white envelope made of heavy card stock. It isn’t critical to anything but I thought it was a nice addition. Enjoy your new welder, we are definitely enjoying ours. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!

Where did you get the dual rear wheel set up?
Thanks for watching and your comment. The dual wheel kit came from Miller Tire out of Ohio. They do online or phone orders. They did have a Good Works Tractor discount even back when we got them. They work awesome and we couldn’t be happier. Appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!

@@travisricks3436 thanks for watching and your comment. It seems to be working good so I have no complaints at all about it. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
Very wise in buying that LockNLube Grease Coupler!!! I have one also and love it! It’s a game changer when it comes to greasing!! What is your opinion on a PTO shaft with a slip clutch? I find they require a lot of maintenance, especially if the implement sits out in the weather year round!
@@travisricks3436 thanks! I only have one implement with a slip clutch and I am honestly not sure if it would slip if I hit something or not. Pins shear reliably and are a simpler idea that kinda makes sense to me. Have a good one! Be safe!
Thanks for the video. I have an area by my barn and the small road going up to it. I was wondering how this stuff would work on it thanks again.
@@bravo2002fatboy thanks for watching and your comment! Millings are awesome but I don’t like them where you have to walk before coming in the house. The millings stick to shoes and can be tracked inside more easily than regular gravel. Everywhere else millings are the way to go. If you can get them packed down with compaction really well they almost are as good as paving. The best part for us we got those millings free because the state needed a place close to their job to dump them. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
Good review, I like your down to earth storytelling style. TIP: After enabling the Hearing Aid feature, you can use the Hearing Control in Control Center to adjust the Transparency Mode sub settings (Amplification, balance, tone, ambient noise reduction), and conversation boost.
@@lrenfro45 thanks for watching and your comment! Very good tip on transparency mode. I am still learning all the features and best adjustments so your comment is very helpful! We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
Do you need an iPhone for those? I have an android. I have significant high frequency hearing loss. Ask my wife - LOL. Been around too many loud noises over the years. Do they offer hearing protection too?
@@AnomadAlaska thanks for watching and commenting! These are for IPhones, there is probably a similar product for Android. I totally understand where you are coming from. These do have a level of hearing protection as well. I tend to still use ear muffs over them when running equipment just so they can’t fall out of my ear and get lost. We appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
1. You need an iPhone to set it up, but after that you can use it independently. 2. Yes, their "adaptive mode" can reduce surrounding noise
