Hi it does not. Dealer does same procedure. This was a service interval warning for oil change. I found after I do roughly 2 to 3 of my own oil changes the service light comes up because I do not reset it. The factory recommended service for oil changes was 10 to 15k miles per my LR dealer. I change it every 3000 or so. So I just take it as the normal oil change warning service per the mileage. These are not like the MBenz where they have the Alpha bet services with certain items to be replaced at X mileage intervals. Never was dinged for this by the dealer as my truck has been there for other recalls and services.

@@cpstang24 Thank you..just realized we are talking about two different things. I have the service engine light on but when I start it, it simply says service required. Or is it one in the same?

@@PabloZelaya service engine is different than service required. Service engine could be several things. Service required is just a way to get you to the dealer.

Nothing wrong with them. I've run their brand control arms on other cars and had no issues during my ownership. For something with that little mileage a year I would go that route.

thankfully just clearing the front drains usually takes car of the issues, yes same procedure for the other side.. But if you have sunroof drain clogs then that could be another animal. I know you would need to pen the sunroof and then with something thin but firm but not sharp feed the tool thru the drains to clean them out and pour water down the drain holes to help clear debris. The problem is the debris turns to muck and makes it hard to remove or clear up. Clear the front drains first and go from there.

Our friend replaced this truck with a X5M... it was fast but I liked the Cayenne much better overall. With the tune and down pipes this would be a faster truck in my opinion.

It is a 2016. Only the SVR and 2017 HST received those brakes on the early L494. 2018+ received them as standard. The 2014-17 HSE/SE all trims received a standard brake caliper.

Yes will fix both sides. Passenger side is less common it's usually just the driveside leaking over to god knows where. But start with driver side.

@@cpstang24 I just cut the rubber grommets on both ends. Had to replace all the CAN bus distributor boards because it got filled with water causing the car not to work at all

Agreed. It was not as smooth I hate to even compare this as I dislike cvt so heavily but it was not as smooth as the Altima.. this was far more Jerky and uncertain at times.

Nothing it just worked right away. No programming needed. Tow regularly with it with no hiccups. All trailer lights and my trailer brake works.

Hi, Tremec said it just a side effect noise of lugging the car. So basically if you don't want to hear the noise drop down a gear or speed up.

@@cpstang24 how stupid I don’t see how they’d consider that normal, my car makes that noise no matter what RPM I’m in when in 5th gear, it’s so annoying

@ReaLisM579 yea its definitely bs but at the same time I always chalk it up to aftermarket parts. We get cheaper quality parts at higher than premium part cost. Ford for their 03/04 t56 probably was a $6500 trans after r&d and testing etc ..We pay half that now 10 years later for a t56 mag. That is essentially parts from china so it's expected to have some side effect. This is just my partial facto opinion

@@cpstang24 yeah I had less trouble with my stock t56 just hated the not chymes of it, but I have the RXT clutch as well, so that paired with this magnum is super noisy but hey, it is what it is lol thank you tho for the responce

@ReaLisM579 rxt absolutely aids in the sound. The twin disc's make a lot of noise and it resonates in these t56. Nature of the beast on that But I get it the noise is not always pleasurable. But no sweat good luck with the car

Yes there was one on each side. They plug in behind the fender liner/splash shield

@@cpstang24well time to look into this, I just changed out the speed sensors on all 4 tires and only had the brake caliper harness or the passenger side but each caliper had a brake wear sensor.

@jorgesevilla6582 ill triple check I know my land rover only had one on the driver side but I'm 90% sure this one had one on both sides.

Yes I do, hoping to finish it up and be on the road shortly with it. And I really like the LR3/4 but I have no complaints with the diesel as far as MPG or reliability at this point and time. The only issue I do have with it and seems to be a common complaint is the diesel fumes if you do not have the AC/Heat on Recirc. Sometimes coming to a stop at a light or certain scenarios with wind etc you just smell diesel fumes. Make sure you try to get a HSE LUX as those have rear AC vents in the ceiling and for 3rd row. Helps cool the truck down quicker. Mine does not and I wish I knew that back when I bought it. But I add DEF every 5-6500 miles, and just stay on oil changes. I tow with it and it tows great. As for the oil extraction. All the quick lube facilities do it that way, I am sure rhe dealer may if customer is waiting vs leaving the truck for other service I'm sure they would drop the under trays and drain it via the bolt at the pan. You can do it that way, but I had been using this on and off on vehicles for years and never really noticed any down side, plus I never get as dirty and gets done in half the time. Very interesting because I just assumed ford took this from JLR and just called it a powerstroke and that was that. Because it got my mind going on a stand alone if you could use a ford ecu and harness to strip down to power this motor and trans or convert to the trans ford uses in the 3.0L f150 . Because I think it's a great engine for the size/power/tq and it gets good mileage for what it is.

@@cpstang24 Ford actually casts and produces these engines for JLR and PSA. They been being made since the early 2000's. They started out as a 2.7 in the JLR and even Ford vehicles in Australia. Ford did do a lot of updating when they finally was like yeah we are gonna use this in our trucks. If you were gonna try to stand alone it the 18-20 would be the years to do it with. Big but the trans computer is a standalone computer on the f150 it's not part of the ECU and the ONLY available transmission is the biggest pile of shit 10R80

Anytime glad it helped. This was my source of clunk. The front sway bar bushings I also thought could of been the culprit but these made a huge difference.

I replaced the Front sway bar bushings and the Sway bar links to no avail . So hopefully this will do the trick. The Boot is torn on (ball Joint) my drivers side upper Control arm so Hopefully that's where the knock is coming from. I have to wait a little bit we are supposed to get Snow here Tomorrow in New York. Thank you again. Cheer's! @@cpstang24
