Yo, about the revolver cylinder , use the ejector rod
Thanks a lot man saved me some cash
If I have a bad stater motor will it cause the bike not to get any power to the cluster?
Manual states jitter plate is the first steel.
Il mio motorino d avviamento è in corto... Cosa si può fare? Grazie 🙏
Thank you so much ! 2024 still helping
Is the clutch oem
Clutch is installed the wrong way
Do you not want to soak your clutch plates in engine oil before installing new ones?
What the best 60ft in zx10r ? And how much the rpm for launch ?
?
You didn’t link the part ???
this is a terrible video
Max, relooking your video, you said you used the 32mm socket as your initial hammer-time tool. Was the 32mm socket spot on with the bearing? I am thinking to just go buy a 32mm socket and have a bolt welded into it with a steel disc or bolt on top to hammer on. This way, I can hold it in place vs having a socket that may move when hit. Also, on the flip side, when you use an old bearing to hammer in the new one and it slips around, use some electrical tape around the diameter where they meet so they don't separate for the initial bite. Once it starts to seat properly, peel off the tape and tap the rest in. I say this because if the old bearing ever slipped for some reason at the time of tge strike of the hammer, it may cause damage to the bearing underneath.
Great video!! Simple and to the point. One question since you did not specify; when you were tapping out the bearings, how did you secure your wheels? Were they elevated on blocks or some sort of wheel stand? And what ceramic bearings did you select?
You don't need to flush the oil before taking the starter cover off right? It doesn't seem like much get in there
Helped alot thank you
Awesome, thanks bro
Kryptonite my kind of bike
Steel plates sharp side is outward not inward 😂
Great video bro
The J frame video is entirely your dad fault get training stop being stupid
What year zx10r is this
Spring goes after first steel not the second
Great video!!!! I've been searching for help with my clutch for months and just happen to find your video. Good job bro!!!!

I have a clutch like it, but I couldn't find anyone explaining how to install and adjust the 2013 Hayabusa bike. I need help

www.ebay.com/itm/371609356068 Hope this helps
From watching the video of the weak non start I'm guessing this is my problem I'm chasing too and you just saved my life I'll let you know soon
Hope it worked
engine mods ? how much HP shoot on it killer bike 🔥
My battery went dead and I tried to jump start my bike from my truck… if I put a lot of power to the bike I get a loud buzzing sound… less power the fuel pump thumps away but the starter does not crank…. Is this the symptom of me needing to do this? I also have a 2006 ZX10. Thanks
That’s usally a bad but if u press the button and just here a click and nothing else u can tap the starter and sometimes it will start again so try that .
Same year, after recharged the battery i can get a crank but doesn't start, lights flicker, ordered new battery but thinking to clean the starter mean time, I also jumstarted from the car back in days, also left bike on for cooling via fans, bad call. Hopefully new battery will solve the issue if not I am ready to replace whole solenoid, stoter, rectifier
I just had that same problem you definitely fried your relay Box under the sea on top of the CDI Grab a one of them from eBay that'll stop thatAnd then we gotta fix the rest of the issue hopefully what this guy just showed us cause I've been through the whole damn bike damn near Except the starter
You said to remove the clutch cable I don't think you did that lol
I did just a long time ago lol
It was your dads responsibility to make sure the gun was empty
What shot is that NOS?
Do you happen to know the part number for the brushes?
I will try and look them up for u
www.ebay.com/itm/371609356068
Here is a link to a kit on eBay I’ll try and get part number also but if not this is exactly what u need and will work
Thank you so much 🙏🏾
The one part we are all here to see you did not show. What tools you used to install the starter motor.
U will need a pack of metric Allen wrenches up to 6mm , socket set up to 13mm , all the cover bolts are 8mm the starter is like a 5.5 or 6mm and( a 8mm ratchet wrench ) optional but very useful . Also u can use take or a pick set to hold the starter brushes in while u slide the commutator in between the brushes so the don’t spring outwards

You spun the front with the brakes still on the old bearings but they weren’t on for the after test. The brake drag will make it spin much less free.
What did you torque your wheels to?
My tq specs are real low so unless you are looking for every little hp out your bike on the drag strip I would stick to factory tq spec .
@@brickmanracing I feel factory torque spec is too tight, I have mine at 87ft lbs
65 with titanium chain adjuster bolts
My 2017 ZX-10RR Service Manual states front axle torque is 95.9 foot lbs. Under-torquing the the front axle nut seems like a compromise to safety. At least the rear axle nut has a cottle pin to keep it from backing out. The problem with not torquing the rear to spec is, again, a compromise to safety in that the axle may shift back as the chain stretches if the torque is not tight enough.
So you spent $400 on bearings, but couldn’t buy a $20 axle nut tool? 🤣
I have all the tools but wanted to show it to people who might not have one .
Why did you change clutches?
The Clutch mod
What 60’ you getting ? I have my clutch in now & got 1.62 stock wheel base. I think I can get better but getting this thing dialed in has been a challenge .. looks like yours is doing awesome
1.2s is my 60 but stock wheel base right gear you should be able to get in the 1.5s with a little tuning. That’s a real good start though
Great content bro
Thanks man hope it helped
I got my new clutch in like yours
Nice u set it up yet
@@brickmanracing no , it’s still in the box. I need to install it 🤷🏻♂️. Lol . I need to call Tim for a install .
That guys great for helping with install

It’s sad but true lol
@@brickmanracing I feel ya I’m right there with you lol but this video helped me with my zx10 I didn’t pull the starter just pulled the guts to get to the brush new one will be here soon ! Thanks for the video man helped me a lot
Yeah man sun if u can and good luck with the rebuild should save u big $$$
@@thatquickcivic1421 Brilliant!
Cool!
Hey what’s up man, great video thank you. I got advice from you and raven wood to rebuild my clutch on my gen5. However, how often do you rebuild your clutch? I took mine for about 5 to 10 rides since I rebuilt it with new friction plates, and I lightly sanded the steel plates with 600 grit to remove the glaze. So the clutch was working great until I was hitting a hard launch then boom, massive slipping started to happen. The cable got very tight as if something was out of adjustment. I’ve been riding a good while and know how do use the clutch. I don’t launch hard to often plus it has quick shift and auto blip. I am a very aggressive street rider though. Any thoughts of what might have happened with the launch? Any feedback is much appreciated!!
I think I’m just going to rebuild with new friction and steel plates along with brocks cushion kit and heavy duty springs and brocks clutch mod. Ahh man this sucks!
every few thousand miles of your roll racing that’s if u have heavier springs. As for drag strip if u hot lap the bike it can go out in 1 day . The key at the drag strip is to pull the clutch cable in with a zip tie so it’s stays disengaged then take oil cap off so the heat can go out . Wait until the bike is under 150 deg before you run again . Just as long as you stay with that method I’d say 40-50 passes until you start loosing mph. As for Reg riding with some aggressive riding 5-10k if u have heavier clutch springs or washers
And one more thing u have to stay on top of having slack in that clutch cable if u loose slack u will burn the clutch up within a few hard pulls
@@brickmanracing thanks for the feedback I appreciate ya! So my issue definitely was warped steel plates 😒 the clutch pack wasn’t able to move freely in the basket. I ended up getting the tracking clutch pack steels/frictions. I also got the brocks clutch mod with extra heavy duty springs and new spring hats. The performance is amazing!!! The clutch mod and HD springs really get that power down man
