I am hoping to hike from mile marker 20 to mile marker 50 on the AT sometime this fall, have you done this section and do you have any helpful info?
I have only done about 50 miles on the AT, and that was spots where n Virginia (Mt Rodgers, McAffee Knob and Cold Mountion) as well as the Presidential Range in NH and a day hike up Mt K in Maine
Any plans to finish the PCT next year?
Still on the list…but not at the moment

Borah is a lot of fun. I felt good about making up in 3 and a half hours, but minutes later two young guys showed up; turns out it took them like 1 and a half uphill. One pulled his paraglider out and was back in the parking lot in minutes.
Type 2 fun for me, 7 hours to get to summit, 5 to get down

It was one of Andrew Skurka’s many trips that he runs…andrewskurka.com/ I would not have thought to go to this area of the country had it not been for him…

What's the name of this trail?
We started at the BMT- Boulder Mail Trail (route between Escalante and Boulder prior to building route 12), but quickly got off trail.
What an impressive hike, the secluded nature of it is very appealing.
We were way off trail and no reception at all, except for my Garmin. Did not see anyone for two days

The group dynamic was really good…when you have a bunch of strangers get together that share the same interests, you can do anything!!!

Good question. While I think I had my gear sort of dialed in on the PCT, looking to streamline my kit and get a little out of my comfort zone with fewer items, plus my high point partner H wii be on the trek - third week of April in Escalante, Utah
