      @@LeftlaneOdyssey it was great alright. 16 days on bikes and total of 3000km. Could've done more but we stopped a lot and tried using as little of high-/expressways as possible so sometimes it took us a long while to ride a few hundred kms due to speed limits and traffic. But it was well worth it.

    Hello, Very nice images, can I know what are the characteristics of the go pro on the bike? THANKS bonjour, Trés belle images, je peux savoir qu'elle sont les caractéristique de la go pro sur la moto ? merci

    • @LeftlaneOdyssey
      @LeftlaneOdyssey 4 місяці тому

      Hi Raven, thanks! Glad you enjoyed. I'm not a hundred percent sure what you mean by characteristics of the GoPro. Just to be sure I'll answer your question in two parts. Settings: so the settings a fairly simple; I record 30 fps with 4K resolution. for the color I either record in 'flat' or 'natural' which I adjust in the settings every once in a while depending on wether I want to edit the colors when editing the video. After this trip I actually got a set of ND filters (which basically are like sunglasses for your GoPro) which are absolutely amazing if you want to get a nice 'motion blur' (if you get your the settings right) and overal a nice 'warm' tint on your footage. Cameras: For this video I used a Gopro 9 and a GoPro 10. both are great but the 10 has definitely been more hassle free and easier to use (respond a bit faster to prompts never had any issues with recording or freezing etc.) If that wasn't your question and you just wanted to know how the camera is mounted or wether I used any extra accesoires or not. I just mounted the GoPro to the chin of my helmet, I feel like this gives you the best POV and the helmet feels most balanced while riding. I currently don't used a mediamod or a external mic at all. this is something I plan on doing to get better audio but for now it worked out fine. hope that helps! If you have more questions or needs tips or tricks or anything like that shoot me a DM on insta: Leftlane_Odyssey I'll have google translate this in french below. (I don't know any french so if the translation sucks I can't help with that haha) Cheers! Bonjour Raven, merci ! Heureux que vous ayez apprécié. Je ne suis pas sûr à cent pour cent de ce que vous entendez par caractéristiques de la GoPro. Juste pour être sûr, je répondrai à votre question en deux parties. Paramètres: donc les réglages sont assez simples ; J'enregistre 30 ips avec une résolution 4K. pour la couleur, j'enregistre soit en « plat », soit en « naturel », que j'ajuste dans les paramètres de temps en temps selon que je souhaite éditer les couleurs lors du montage de la vidéo. Après ce voyage, j'ai reçu un ensemble de filtres ND (qui sont essentiellement comme des lunettes de soleil pour votre GoPro) qui sont absolument incroyables si vous voulez obtenir un joli « flou de mouvement » (si vous avez les bons réglages) et dans l'ensemble un joli « flou de mouvement » teinte chaude sur vos images. Appareils photo: Pour cette vidéo, j'ai utilisé une Gopro 9 et une GoPro 10. Les deux sont excellentes mais la 10 a définitivement été plus simple et plus facile à utiliser (répondez un peu plus rapidement aux invites, n'avez jamais eu de problèmes d'enregistrement ou de gel, etc.) Si ce n'était pas votre question et que vous vouliez simplement savoir comment la caméra est montée ou si j'ai utilisé ou non des accessoires supplémentaires. Je viens de monter la GoPro sur le menton de mon casque, j'ai l'impression que cela vous donne le meilleur POV et que le casque est le plus équilibré pendant la conduite. Je n'utilise actuellement pas du tout de mediamod ou de micro externe. c'est quelque chose que je prévois de faire pour obtenir un meilleur son, mais pour l'instant, cela a bien fonctionné. J'espère que cela pourra aider! Si vous avez d'autres questions ou si vous avez besoin de conseils ou d'astuces ou quelque chose comme ça, envoyez-moi un DM sur insta : Leftlane_Odyssey

Also make sure you have enough leverage on the brake side. The way this is set up works fine but you do need to push quite hard to get the brake to lock up. Good luck dm me on instagram if have any question or need some help!

    Nice bike, those carbs are hard(but not impossible) to tune to run good with pod filters. I have cb400n that i turbocharged and for a bit longer than a year i used stock carbs with turbo so they are not as bad as some people say but still in the end i replaced them with homemade ardiuno based fuel injection system. I'm jealous of how much space you have on that bike, now wires or anything visible under seat, in my case it looks like spaghetti of wires, vaccum tubes and other turbo/fuel injection related stuff.
