My god finally, channels like this are slept on I've been waiting for a more detailed breakdown for a couple days now. Huge ups man, take care
Glad you enjoy the content!
This video is a rollercoaster. First I was like "30 minutes? How deep can this possibly go, I've read the wiki".
Then I was like: Knowing how much I actually get from a classic run could be useful.
Then you started reading out numbers and now I'm just wondering: Can't you give me the result beforehand?
I love proof and all, but this is just too much information for the impatient type I am.
Ty for your feedback, in retrospect there was probably no need for a classic run.
@@simplyayu_pkmn nah brother you're good, most of us are here because of how deep down you go into things, there's already too many people doing short/simplified vids!
@@KyomaGaming Ty for the feedback!
I specifically found the classic breakdown useful, so ty!
you can just skip through the video, you don't need to watch every second. I didn't care about the in depth analysis and just watched the classic run example and got the gist of it
You need 1000 more subs
Can someone summarize for classic runs?
Team building:
Bring the pokemon you want to farm candies on. Ideally one that has a multi-target hitting move with no friendly-fire if possible. Bring something else that can compliment the primary mon for double battles, or something that can ignore/heal through the friendly-fire damage. If your main mon is dog shit and you're afraid of the rival, consider bringing something specifically to counter a bad rival starter. Fill whatever space is left with shinies for luck.
Playing through the run:
Kill everything you possibly can with your main mon. For items, prioritize Lures (aim is to always have 3 lures active), Rare Candies, and Nuggets. If you roll none of the above, feel free to reroll but only once. If you roll none of the above on the second roll, just pick something and move on. You'll typically fight a random trainer @ floor 5, your rival @ 8, another random trainer somewhere between 11-19, and a gym leader or boss mon at 20. If you get the gym leader and defeat them, you'll get ~$1k, which will be enough for one last roll at 21 even if you were dirt poor. If at any point in time you happen to find the item "Soothe Bell", you can *consider* continuing to play up to 31. Use your own judgment here. If you do this, keep in mind there will be a rival battle at 25. They will have the 2nd evo of the same starter they had @ 8, a bird of some kind, and another mon that's less predictable. Your main mon dying at any point in time is extremely bad, should be an instant F5. If it comes down to it, It is worth sacking your entire team if it means your main mon lives. Whether you decide to stop after the reroll on 21 or greed for 31, that's when you quit to main menu and repeat.
Those last couple of points were my own additions that he didn't really mention, but that's the TLDW version of what he said.
What is it he calls ghastly and other type of pokemon at 12:36 ?
Pre cursed? I dont understand 😅
same
3 cost
Best way to farm gacha tickets?
finish classic with pokemons you didn't already win with
What he said. Also daily runs since they're only 50 stages though you only get the reward once a day.
I'm currently farming classic by bring my moxie gyarados to sweep the game while bring low cost mons to farm for ticket
Caught a fricking Lugia boss last night, got 5 candies for it in one run
why i have diffrent starter passive abilites
than other ?
Egg moves and passive abilities change all the time because they are balanced by the community.
i think bell only works for winns not candies
Did you not watch the video? The candies you gain is based on the friendship you gain, the more friendship you gain, the more candies you gain, and what does soothe bell do? Make you gain friendship faster.
@@CheesySkye173i think they meant that the bell's effect only applies to friendship gained through battles and NOT friendship gained through rare candies
I'll confirm here that bells do increase the friendship of rare candies too! I actually tried in game and got +12 instead of +5.
rlly love the info but i cannot understand the accent for more than a few minutes lmao rip
Gotta timestamp for when you couldn't understand something?
RIP your ears, I suppose.
@@girlweird833 basically the entire thing unless I actually give it full focus. But that's not how most people consume content these days
When is face reveal
I missed you Itay.
The candy mechanic is honestly so bad. I hope they retune it because the amount of time it takes to get anything from it is complete nonsense.
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to use extra candies to craft egg of that specific species to farm the shiny/egg moves so I don't think it's going to change anytime soon.
