Mine has the safety on the slide. I agree that the sights are horrible, but after getting used to it, I’m shooting pretty good
I'm not sure if it's model run specific, but with mine, it WILL NOT release the slide if it is still cocked. For my LC9, the trigger must be pulled after clearing. Otherwise, the slide will not release for breakdown. Outside of this one critical detail, this is an outstanding guide video. Well done.
@@mikeycrabtree123 This video is model specific to the LC9s Pro. For the LC9, you are correct.
@ncshootist not seeking a pat on the head here or anything, but considering how many folks would potentially be viewing your video & not realize they have a slightly different model, you may want to pin this thread to the top for their benefit.
You didn’t even take out the firing pin
Thank you
What’s the part number for the bracket
I bought the 8-32 thread adapter and stuck it on my Lee case prep xpress station and it works great also.
@@derekm3304 Thanks Derek, I need to try out the thread adapter.
How many rounds can be fired before the firing pin spring becomes brittle from heat seperates
I also own a 92S. Bought it brand new with presentation wood grips. I’ve replaced the grips with better textured ones for control. It is the pride of my gun collection and has a special place on the wall in my mancave when I’m working in there.
Dang wheres your gloves? Lol
Si alguien tiene una a la venta me avisa
i had to buy a punch as the pin was a bear at least for awhile. also i have to use the dummy mag or actual to get slide off. maybe i need owners manual read again
Followed this step by step and got everything back together now the pump won’t slide. Any ideas?
@@dustrankSHNF probably the bolt lugs not engaging properly with the breech lugs.
@@ncshootist I ended up just dropping it off at the gunsmith.
If you don’t mind me asking did you have to mess with the recoil spring after you cut down the barrel?
@@alvaroflores3646 I didn’t have to make any changes to the recoil spring.
let everyone know a taurus 17 round mag will fit and work in the 92S taurus started out with that cut when they moved the release they kept the original cut in the mag and you can down load the langdon kit
2:40 Calibers, micrometer is a different tool.
@@LowIQinHQ Calipers, caliber is a different word.

I inherited one of these guns. My moms husband used it as a duty pistol as a LEO. It has 2 15 rd magazines. I saw one youtuber taking the decocker out to clean and it would be a pain to do. I feel like if I do it like you did that I can still clean and lube it very good. Thanks for showing this video.
Just watched this agin on the resemble. Ur bolt how loss is the pins ? My large one u all must or will shack out if tip over while cleaning
Show man
Good video.
Thank u need understanding on how take barrel off. Pull trigger and clean it inside. Got rifle and hunt with years was my wifes uncles gun got when passed away. Have issues ran a reloading dummy through chamber and elevated fine test just barrel and mag. Did 3 or 4 times then try it agin and know will not close bolt all the way on that dummy or factory ammo ? But close and lock up on empty.
Gesichert..... moeilijk woord !
I just got a regular lc9. Does it work the same?
Howell 45Cal Conversion Cylinders Firing Pins hitting frame when cycling on a Uberti Army Colt 44Cal Black Powder Revolver. Any suggestions???
Same ima to buy another firing pin for my SKS its been slam firing. More than usual great video sir :)
That was my gun in 1982 Army/ 1st Brigade Infantry but in 9mm. Great gun back then, thanks for sharing.
🏆
I have 3 of these and wouldn't even think about not having one on any defensive rifle/shotgun.....
Showing how you took out the retaining pin would have been good, people say it's difficult.
The prices have went up a good bit since this video.
👍💯
I have one of these with a factory matching German scope
I haven’t seen one with a factory scope. That’s really rare!
👍
I wish AK could have as the same firing pin as SKS.
Nice job thank you
I can load paper cartridges faster than i could reload brass cartrudges in that pistol. Kinda pointless.
Now you got bean burito wall 🧱 people geting them in there hands gang bagen bastards over in our country you know there ginna be a war its coming man
What a beautiful gun man. Seriously
Thanks!
Dude just clean the damn gun your opinion is wrong. My p95 back in 2008 came with a 15 mag and an extra 15 mag. So if you're in Texas then you're good. But you waste a lot of time talking about your stupid opinion.
Hi. Would you be able to remove the extractor for cleaning without removing retainer pin?
Hi,... Thanks for the video. I need a spring. The hold back latch spring... Could u share any advise on where to find this part?.....thanks.😊
Either Sarco or Wolff should have what you need.
Балтун
Information is good, BUT, my slide wouldn't slide forward because the trigger wouldn't pull without a magazine in it or in my case the orange plastic mock mag that came with it. Once that was inserted it was as the video shows! THANKS :)
Hi, sir! How to leave the weapon deactivated or inert? Removing a spring or some internal part. Thanks a lot!
Removing the firing pin is one way to do that.
@@ncshootist Thank you, sir!
you needed a new firing pin, they wear over time. My old one was the same way got a new one (NOS), cleaned the channel and works perfectly. I would only buy the murray if I had a bolt face issue.
Just joining those who say yours is the best disassembly and assembly video of all of them. Thanks for making it seem simple and easy. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the kind words James. I’m glad my video helped you!
Excellent video. Any ideas how to jiggle a stuck hammer plunger and spring out? Mine is fully depressed and won’t budge. i’ve cleaned and lubed it up in hoping it will free up but i’m not confident this will work.
Have you taken the hammer pin out? I think if you get that pin drifted out you should be able to remove the hammer, plunger and spring.
Thanks@@ncshootist i used penetrating oil to break up the corrosion and after a while and some manual jiggling i got it to pop. The spring and plunger were pretty corroded. It shoots now but i need to work on more preventative cleaning for my firearms.
If you put that drill in your vise it will work better.
I’m a little late to the party but great video
The clip design is much better than the screws on old Sienna.
