Teacher Sarah Yates and the cutting edge of learning
Stanthorpe teacher Sarah Yates has been recognised for helping her school operate at the cutting edge of teaching and learning.
The Assistant Principal of Stanthorpe's St Joseph's School has been honoured with a Toowoomba Catholic Schools "Excellence in Leadership" award for spearheading innovations like the Visible Learning Program and Exemplary Teaching and Learning Framework.
She shared with me why, despite sounding a bit dry, these programs are revolutionising the school experience of both teachers and their students.
