U are the best
I appreciate that!
I have to do it in 2 weeks, is it possible for me to prepare? Keep in mind my background is in medical school, not business school.
Yes, it's definitely possible. I've had students boost their scores significantly in just 5 days. I'm tutoring a student right now who just started with me and takes her test in three days, and she's already improving a lot. Part of it depends on where you're starting from and what your target score is, of course. Part of it also depends on how much time you'll be able to devote over the next two weeks. But if you focus on the highest-yielding strategies, content areas, and question types, you can make big gains in a relatively short amount of time on the EA.
Great explanation! I’ve been struggling with gmat for a while now and comparing yourself to others is very painful sometimes
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad this helped!
EMBA Wharton
Awesome! Have you talked to them yet? Did they give you a score expectation?
I saw online that their median for cohort was 155. I will call to see what's their target
That’s consistent with what a lot of my students have been told by Wharton. Good luck and let me know how else we can help!
Signed up for your course too late lol I'm on day 3 need your help
very nice video
Thank you!
Does the EA add 120 points to everyone towards your final score, no matter how much you score?
Yes, that's correct. I explain EA scoring in detail in this video (skip to the ~5:00 mark for an explanation of your question about scores starting at 120): ua-cam.com/video/mvEp3Osmj0E/v-deo.htmlsi=RF_tuI2EIz39sHT3
I would like to Endorse these courses, I took the EA course from Brett, and it greatly helped me achieve a high score and acceptance to Said Business School, if you are considering the course I would recommend it
Thanks, Adam! We're glad to see you doing well!

Do you prepare people for LDW?
I'm just now seeing this here, but I'm glad we were able to connect via e-mail. I hope you ended up doing well on the LDW and that you get the promotion at work!
Integrated Reasoning most challenging
It can be for sure, especially the time management aspect of it. As I tell my students, a lot of what you're studying for Quant and Verbal comes into play on IR as well. So from that standpoint it's nice. But yeah, it definitely takes some practice!
Is there a Negative score for incorrect answers in executive assessment test? How the incorrect answers will affect my score other than not adding up to my total score? Can you please explain me. Thank you.
Yhe EA is section-adaptive, meaning the difficulty level of the questions in the second sub-section within each major section is determined by how well you do on the first sub-section. So in that sense, wrong answers impact your overall score based on how they impact the computer-adaptive scoring algorithm. The other thing to consider is that the difficulty level of the questions you get wrong matters as much as how many questions you get wrong. In other words, two students who both get 5 out of 14 questions wrong on the Quantitative Reasoning section might get different QR section scores depending on WHICH questions they got wrong. It's all computed behind the scenes by the EA's proprietary scoring algorithm, so really all you can do is try your best on each question you face and see how it plays out in the end.
Hi, I’m planning to purchase your course, is there a discount code? I just cannot afford the fees at the moment.

Thank you for the videos. I'd like it more if it's shorter , straight to the points , less talk .
You're welcome, Mohammad. Good luck as you prepare for the EA and let us know how else we can help!
Thank you sir, this video was really helpful! got me an overview of the exam .
I'm glad you found it helpful, Ghanendar. Good luck preparing and don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything else we can do to help!
Hi, I've been looking online but can't seem to find the answer. I know for EA online tests, the results take up to 7 business days, but for EA test centre exams, do they also take a few days or are they available directly upon completion of the exam like GMAT's? Thanks!
When you take the Executive Assessment at a test center, you see your official scores for that exam on your computer screen immediately after completing your exam. You also receive a printout of your EA scores for that exam before you leave the test center. Furthermore, your scores are available in your online account within 24 hours of your test appointment.
@@DominateTestPrep Thanks for your prompt reply!
155 is a good score for MBA in Duke & Darden?
Yes!
Nyu?
Are you asking what the expected EA score is for NYU Stern? If so, their official website is non-specific on the matter: www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/mba-programs/admissions/standardized-tests. Some of our students have been told 150+. You might want to reach out to their admissions office directly, or contact an MBA Admissions Consultant who may have a better feel for their 80th percentile score range.
This was a very unique question. Thank you for sharing it to challenge my reasoning
My pleasure. Glad it stretched your abilities!
Is 153 enough to apply to Stanford MSx? Or is it better to retake the exam?
There's not a blanket answer to that question. Stanford generally prefers 155+, but plenty of students get admitted with scores lower than that. So a lot of it comes down to what else you bring to the table -- work experience, resume, essays, academic record, etc. My advice would be to reach out to their admissions office. They're usually pretty forthcoming with their expectations.
what are some practice test prep books do u recommend using?
The best source of practice questions are the "official" ones put out by the GMAC. You can purchase them through the GMAC website here: www.mba.com/exams/executive-assessment/prepare. I also recommend the GMAT Official Guide. The reason I like that book is that you get more questions for less money, and nearly all of them are relevant for the EA (just skip the geometry stuff). As an added bonus, I've recorded detailed video solutions for every question in that guide and include them with our Complete Executive Assessment Course.
Can I get any discount for enrolling to the EA prep test
We offer a military discount as well as discounts for students who previously enrolled in another course but didn't get the score they needed. We also occasionally have short-term promotions. Please send me an e-mail at brett@dominatetestprep.com to continue the conversation.
EMBA
Awesome, Gary. Have your target programs told you what their score expectations are?
Hi Brett, hope you are doing well. I reallly want to access your material but the price is too expensive for me at the moment. Could you please give some discount on the course? I have booked my ea for 3 Sep 22
Hi Aniruddha. I'm glad you found us here on UA-cam and I know you'll really benefit from our full EA course content. Please send me an e-mail at brett@dominatetestprep.com and we can discuss your request. Looking forward to talking further!
Thanks a lot Brett! Excellent material. Are you aware of any impact of a good EA score vs a good GMAT score to be considered for a scholarship?
That's a good question. My sense is that Executive MBA programs don't offer scholarships to the same degree as traditional MBA programs, so a high EA score doesn't help you quite as much as a high GMAT score. But that would definitely be a question for the admissions office of the school(s) you're applying to.
Awesome! Thank you!!
Our pleasure. Glad you found it helpful!
Hi Brett. I am n=most worried that I will do well on certain questions which makes it harder, and I won't be able to answer them. Does that make sense? The better I do, the harder it gets and then I fail the exam.
Your concern makes sense, but doesn't accurately reflect the EA scoring algorithm. Yes, if you do well on the first sub-section you'll get a harder second sub-section. But it won't be so hard that you get them all wrong. And as long as you get some of the harder questions correct, they'll carry more weight than if you get more of the easy questions right. Ultimately the exam should adapt to your abilities, whether you get off to a good start or a bad start, and yield a final score that reflects your preparedness. So just do as well as you can on every question you're confronted with and let the algorithm do its job. You won't fail just because you get a lot of questions right early on. Go get it!
@@DominateTestPrep thank you so much. I think I keep trying to talk my self out of taking the exam. I appreciate the reply!
@@shawnteldaniels1047 My pleasure. BTW, it sounds like you'll benefit from my Tip #1 in this podcast episode: podcast.dominatetestprep.com/548431/1628479-1-top-3-prep-tips-for-any-standardized-test

My pleasure!
This wasn't what I wanted. I am looking for a video telling us which questions we should attack first in each segment of the reasoning test.
When you say "reasoning test," what are you referring to? Are you talking generally about which questions to work on first within each section of the exam?
🙂 p̾r̾o̾m̾o̾s̾m̾
Thanks for the comment... but you're going to have to translate that for me!
Addendum: For Statement (1), the "world of possible n's" also includes three-digit numbers (e.g. 462), four-digit numbers (e.g. 7,365), five-digit numbers (e.g. 10,960), etc. But the realization is still that in all cases, the only way to get a hundreds digit of 10n that's 6, the tens digit of n must be 6. SUFFICIENT.
This was great! I would love to see more hard EA questions :) Thank you for your great content and for your detailed explanations.
My pleasure. Glad you found it helpful!
what if I have only got 2 weeks to my real test?
Focus on learning my non-standard math strategies and the most commonly tested question types for each section. You won't be able to learn it all in just two weeks, but if you focus on the highest-yielding content and strategies, you can make significant improvement in a short amount of time.
Super helpful! Thank you
You're welcome!
Thanks! This is very helpful!
Glad to hear it. Let us know how else we can help!
I’m encountering the “I’ll Never Phase” in Phase I instead of II for EA Test.
What are you encountering specifically that's giving you pause?
when u saw 1690, you immediately know the answer is 4
Thanks for sharing and all the best to you!
Hi. I'm sorry, I can't follow the data sufficiency.. you write a + 80 + b = 200 ... but 200 is pies and 80 is customers. shouldn't it be a + 160 + b = 200? and then customers who bought only chocolateys 0 and chocolate pies is 80. right?
Yes, that's correct. That's the observation that Alvaro Sanz made in his comment below. But as he also noted, it doesn't change the sufficiency determination -- that's the beauty of Data Sufficiency in that you don't actually have to solve it!
I don’t know why this is in my recommendations but honestly people like you who take the time in their life to educate and help people on the internet for free are the best type of people. Thanks dude
Wow, I appreciate that! I believe things happen for a reason -- so perhaps you were shown this video by UA-cam simply to encourage me 😀. Have a blessed day.
Hi Brett, the fastest way to solve the first Quant Q would be to consider that the sum has 0 as the last digit. Because 150 also has a 0 as the last digit. Hence, when multiplied with any number will give the last digit as 0. Now, we need to find a number which when multiplied by 85 will give a 0 in the last digit, which can only be 4. So, we can get to the right answer with least calculation in shortest time. 🌞
Reasoning! Well done and thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this! When Brett suggested to look at the answers I did take note that "4" was the only even number and the rest were odd. Now I know this significance behind that.
