Thank you for your helpful information! If I start with low score of IR and then remaining first sections of Q and V become easy, is it difficult to get higher scores than 14 in the V and Q sections? Even though each of the first section is easy, does getting almost full points allows to make high score in V and Q? By starting with easy, does only a few mistakes had more negative influence on the section's score than when the V and Q section start with harder ? I want to know as to whether the test takers can get high score like 155 even though failing in the IR section like 4-7 points.
It's a good question but hard to answer without knowing the exact details of the EA's proprietary behind-the-scenes algorithm. That said, it does appear from the many practice test results we've reviewed that you can still get high Q and V scores even if you don't do well on IR. 14 questions is enough to pull your other scores back up. An overall score of 155 is more realistic if your IR score is 7 because that means the other two sections need to average a 14. As long as you miss no more than a few questions on each of the other two sections, you should be able to get a 14 on each. But if you only get a 4 on IR then you'll need to average 15-16 on the other two sections, and that will basically mean only getting 1-2 wrong answers on each section based on what we've seen.
I love how passionate you are about this. Excellent job. Thank you
My pleasure. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Good luck and let me know how else we can help!
Super helpful! Thank you
