You also may wanna look at the optics. How will they set or the dimensions? The one I'm using currently is the sig. It's on sale for 8999 now. It's the Romeo 0 I think for the P365I believe it's R. MS cut and it screws directly into the gun out of the box. And cowitnesses pretty damn good. You're not going to have a pin. Perfect shot. But you very, very close. I would say within 10 yd. I have the same pistol with a 3" barrel, use the wooden grip it came with the revolver and have replaced the strong factory trigger and hammer springs too. I like Taurus firearms, as well as Ruger, CZ etc. and stay away from S & W and high priced name brands. Take care and shoot safely!

Great tip on changing the return spring I noticed the one on the performance trigger looked to be gray, I just ordered one and will try the copper colored spring after I do a pull test on the grey spring.

Really like the Sheild in 45 acp . A dependable 9 round mag & improved trigger all I’d like . Holster can be found but it’s getting better .

Canik SFX mags fit as well but Walther mags do not each long enough for the Canik SFX, I loaded 8 mags- 3 Walther, 5 Canik Shot the Canik- put it down, grabbed any of the available mags, shot the PDP, the rest of the mags, only got confused when I picked up the Canik and my mag wouldn’t chamber a round realizing it was a PDP mag

How'd it do with +P 230 gr rounds? I currently carry a Glock 20 but I want to switch to something smaller for obvious reasons and relegate the 20 to camping/woods carry. I keep a Glock 21 in the bedside table (which used to be my CCW pistol until I got the 20) and .45 is about as light of a round as I want to go with.

people always dismiss the Glock triggers as garbage because they over analyze it on the Gunsmith table with all their little gunsmith tools. And then they go out and ACTUALLY shoot the firearms and the Glock outperforms the other pistols. Don’t obsess over specifications on paper, go shoot the gun.

who cares about the weight, how does it shoot? In those dry fires it seems amazing. I think they had to make it heavier for safety reasons, but it’s still gonna perform better than the stock due to the mechanics

Just bought one & without having fired one round, it's back to Taurus. Then cylinder unlock early allowing it to rotate backwards & forwards. This happens when the trigger is only pressed enough to take up the play, which was only 1/16". Nothing else moves.

I've had this for over 1 year and I just found out it doesn't work in complete darkness because of the auto dimming feature, completely worthless POS

I have the XL TORO and have extended mags and pinky extension since I have wide hands but short fingers. No other modifications or holosights. 500 rounds and no problems. Decent accuracy.

I just purchased a PDP Full Size 4.5" and there was a deal that if you buy a PDP by 12/31/2024 you can fill out a form on the Walther site and recieve a $338 red dot sight for free. You have to submitt the form by 1/15/2025. The red dot sight is a CHPWS. I get my new Walther PDP Full Size 4.5" very soon & a free red dot. It says the C&H red dot mounts directly to the slide and co-witness to your sights.

For about the cost of that sticky, you can get a Mika's pocket holster Has a semi rigid insert in the mouth of the holster so that you can reholster without taking it out of your pocket, and does not come out of the pocket with the gun Much better choice than a sticky for pocket carry, and excellent customer service

I have an S&W Centennial. I have a Ruger SP-101. AND I have the Taurus 856. For the life of me I can’t really tell them apart. Okay, that’s not entirely true. I tend to shoot a little better with the Taurus, and the Taurus holds six rounds. The others only hold five. Also, The factory grip of the Taurus fits my hand best of the three. I dislike the S&W because the concealed hammer deprives holsters from using a retention strap. One complaint: Please stop discussing “economy” as if it were a fault. IMO this Taurus is every bit as good as the other two, even when the others cost more than double.
