Changing the Narrative Behind D3 Basketball
Переглядів 2,9 тис.Місяць тому
In this video, I’m sharing my personal journey through Division 3 basketball and why it’s far more than just a stepping stone. D3 hoops are often overlooked, but the grind, the dedication, and the passion that come with it are what truly make it special. I’m here to change the narrative and show that D3 players have the heart, skill, and work ethic it takes to succeed, both on and off the court...
Day In The Life Of A Pro Hooper In Taiwan | Shooting Workout
Переглядів 6 тис.Місяць тому
Come with me for a shooting workout before my team’s evening practice. In this video I show a shooting workout that I do when I don’t have a rebounder. For many players at any level, you won’t have a rebounder when you go shoot. While not having a rebounder can be hard, it is still possible to have productive workouts. Follow this workout the next time you go shoot! Shooting Workout: docs.googl...

Consistency™️
yo Ethan, Im a 15 yr old sophmore, just got cut from jv and was cut from freshman, and I'm looking on ways to improve specifically my ball iq and ball handling, but overall I know I need to strengthen all parts of my game. I'm 6ft and I'm naturally an off the catch 3 pt shooter (so SQ position) any advice for me next season?
Fellow Christian here, my son is 12 years old, and is also enthusiastic about basketball, what is your advice for a young player his age, what is the most important thing he needs to work on if he wants to pursue professional basketball?
@@heavenlogoswalkerconsistency. If you can help him train(rebound for him) or get him training as soon as possible. Playing with older/ more skilled players
@ Thank you very much, will continue to follow your journey and pray for you!
How much do you make? If you don’t mind me asking ball park figure
Can you beat Roy yuan
yo protect your dad at all costs
so how much is your salary as a pro player in Taiwan?
An apartment and a few bags of rice
Anything possible for hooper to play outside of the US.
being an asian man is your penis very small? how does that affect your basketball?
Vid is too short. Tainan night markets got way more
thumbnail is tuff
Awesome story bro
thought it was going to be how you practiced to improve.
Your form reminds me of Eric Gordon. 👊
Ofc bro went overseas 😂
Great story congrats bro!
Proud of you
Amazing how basketball is growing more in popularity overseas. It just highlights how a monopoly such as the NBA stifles grow and opportunity for more players on all levels.
Great job, keep it up!
Thank you for the insights into your journey. Praying that you get plugged into a local faithful Bible-teaching church down in Tainan (my family is actually from there).
Congrats! You have an amazing father, I hope to be able to talk to my son and guide him as wise as he did for you. God is good!!
Honestly, I would agree 100% with you about the grind of D3 hoops (even though I finished 10 years ago). I played four years for a school in Georgia and by my senior year, I was the only one left from my incoming class of 20+.
Inspired by your journey Ethan! Keep up the faith in Him, and can't wait to track your progress from here!
More mukbang vids!!! My all time favorite <33
GOOOD EATSSSSS
Bro, thanks for sharing your testimony about how God opened doors for you to use your talent and love for the game to play professional ball in Taiwan. I'll be looking out for you at the games and maybe one day God will have our paths cross in Taiwan.
At my school everyone had there parents paying there tuition except me. I was so burnt out. Honestly I'd suggest JUCO before D3 as it will be way cheaper and probably keep you local.
Even if you’re playing club basketball at your college like I did at my D1 school and never got promoted to the NCAA team which faced jucos, another club team and one main team since that school only had one team, Chung makes an excellent point. The love, the passion and the fire must be everlasting to survive college basketball. I’ve seen many teammates quit and leave the college altogether myself from junior to senior year.
wow you were in that mustang team
Facts bro
Man! I love this! So glad you didn’t give up after having to be coached by me! Proud of you Ethan! 💯
@@maxhoops3 Appreciate you Coach!
It’s goal tend. Dwight owe you a lunch.
From 25 recruits to 3 seniors… that speaks on the realities of “scammy” business of small college athletics more than anything 🤷♂️
i don’t understand this comment? what do you mean?
I'm a D3 track athlete, but I basketball was my main sport in HS, I was just better at track and stuck with it. Man and I'm kinda glad I did that. You have to really be passionate to play a D3 team sport like basketball or football. I see them working these guys like crazy and often there's no promise of your hard work paying off in terms of getting to play. And I'm over just chilling, still working hard lol but individual sports are a much different dynamic than team sports in terms of chances at opportunities to shine.
I Appreciate You For Making This Video🙏🏽 I Will Be Playing D3 Hooefully Next Year And This Vid Gave Me so Much confidence and understanding thank u
Good luck next season!
Enjoyed this plz make more of these🙏🏽💯
Hey ethan,im a 16 year old junior in high school and I’ve recently been falling in love with basketball. Ever since 8th grade people have been telling me to play bc of my height (I was 5’11 then and currently I am 6’1) I have no idea if you will see this comment but what are some tips for someone who started playing basketball a bit later than their peers and is there any advice you would just generally give to stay on this grind? Sincerely,Akeem Ashley
Whats up Akeem! If your goal is to play on your high school basketball team, or even beyond, then I would say you have to be in the gym every day. Working on the fundamentals, shooting, finishing, lifting. Finding a trainer to help develop your skills at a faster rate. Especially if you are starting later, this would definitely be my advice for you.
🔥
Great video thanks for sharing! Love Pacific hoops!
Thank you!
🔥🔥
Looking like D3 Demar Derozan
Another banger video and insight into D3
Love this video. What stood out to me about D3 basketball was how good everyone on the court was. No scrubs at any level.
I’ve done videos about basketball at the D2 level and this video has me excited to finally check out and make videos about D3 ball :)
🙏 thank you!
BANGOUT
Can you make a video on how to workout in szn and in the off szn?
You’re ahead of me!
If Dwight touched the ball then 2, if he didn’t then 3, if he touched the rim then goaltend.
May I ask the brand of the clothes?🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️
