Hi, I'm Christina and I'm addicted to soap art! I share behind the scenes footage of making soap and all of the other products I sell in my shop and at the market. Thanks for hanging out with me!
How to make soap - Making "Pearl" Soap
In this video I am making one of my most popular and simple soaps named "Pearl"
This soap only requires titanium dioxide and fragrance to complete the batter phase. I spray Sparkle Plenty fairy dust from Mad Micas on top and each bar gets a piece of real mother of pearl shell. I love the look! These bars are scented with Nature's Garden fragrance in White Tea. This fragrance rices and sets up quickly but since it is a one color soap, it doesn't cause too much trouble. Thank you for watching and enjoy!

How to make soap: Making "Seiche"
Переглядів 1,2 тис.11 місяців тому
Watch me make my best selling soap "Seiche", an ocean themed soap bar! In this bar, I tried out a new dark navy blue color from a supplier I do not normally use. It turned a pretty bronze color in the finished bar, which kind of surprised me! I used some real sea shells and pieces of sea glass that I got from a recent trip to San Diego. Thank you so much for watching! You can find me on Instagr...

I love the color and the easy instruction.
So beautiful!
es muy bonito, gracias por su video🧡🧡🧡
Loved loved loved the soap and watching you make it! But I did end up muting the music because it got so monotonous.
Hii I started making soap and obviously the most difficult part for me right now is the consistency of my soap batter when adding designs. Can you let me know what oils you mostly use to give it that fluid consistency over a decent period of time. And what essential oils you use that don’t accelerate
I haven’t got confirmation of book I ordered earlier???
So cute ❤
I just started watching and gathering material to try my hand at soap making. This design is beautiful. Definitely something to strive for. I loved the look of your soap base. Do you have the recipe posted somewhere. I would appreciate the advice.
Beautiful creativity 😍😍 I’m blown away, loveeee it!
Precioso y super delicado❤❤❤
What does being on a slant achieve?
@@beekb4999 hello😊 It allows the colored batter to be laid in individual layers, one on top of the other.
Beautiful soap!!!!
@@lauracouturier1885 thank you so much!
Why did you change the mold?

hi, congratulations on they are splendid, I wanted to ask you what that spray is that you use on the surface, thanks ❤
@@alyseglantine5368 thank you! The spray is Mad Micas Sparkle me blue
This is beautiful. I need to learn how to keep my soap fluid long enough to get more elaborate designs.
@@jenni-bshomestead9461 thank you! I just realized after soaping for 3 years with my recipe that not all recipes behave the same. I thought they all stayed pretty fluid until you add things like micas or fragrances. I was literally dumbfounded! I use canola oil in my recipe, also olive oil. I wonder if that is what keeps it fluid, but I’m not a chemist. I hope you can find something that works for you!
Wow! Absolutely stunning! Such beautiful crafty creative work!😍😍😍

Amazing work. A masterpiece. So much energy and inspiration in this video. Thank you for the time and effort you have given to inspire us all. Well Done.

How to dilute mica colours ❤
Very tedious but so beautiful!
I’ll admit, at first I didn’t know how this would turn out; but It turned out to be one of the most bold and radiant soaps I’ve ever seen. Job well done! Absolutely gorgeous!
I love everything about this soap bar. My skin would be lost without your soaps 🌹💐💖
hi i am a first time visitor can you tell me what you used to pigment soap batter, how to make these shimmery pigments?
Hello madam, I would like to buy my oils and perfume for soap at crafters choice but I don't know if they sell their products to individuals and if they deliver to Belgium? Could you please inform me? Best regards. Rosalie
@@rosalievanvooren3721 hello! You’d have to ask Wholesale Supplies Plus if they ship to Belgium. Their customer service team is amazing!
Very beautiful, it is a shame you have to cut it.
@@christineclarke1739 thank you 😊
Are those soap embeds or real shells??
Absolutely stunning, live the colors. Wow breathtaking, thanks for sharing.

Great video! Please, could I ask you the soap recipe?
I really like what you are doing but your videos would be more useful to everyone if you shared your recipes, perhaps one day you will
@@FM-id7lz thank you for watching! I will never share my recipe though. It took me nearly 2 years and tons of research, trials and error, and tears to get my recipe. I think anyone who is serious about soap making can do what I did and make their own recipe. If not, there are always free recipes out there too.
@@lunatheleaf4748 well that’s a shame you wouldn’t want to share your knowledge, no offense but sharing doesn’t take anything away from you but thank you for answering
Absolutely gorgeous, where can I find a complete recipe? Would love to try this, I just started making soap
@@FM-id7lz thank you! You can find lots of free recipes online!
Absolutely stunning, the colors the swirls wow. Just loved the video.
@@ivonvalle2683 thank you so much!
Your soaps are amazing and I am so proud I came upon your channel. I’m very new still and don’t know much about any soap expect the melt and pour goats milk so far. What’s the fairyduster? And do you have any videos that show beginners how to mix everything and what the ingredients are from the start?
She does not give recipes unfortunately
What is the little sprays you put on
I'm still learning so, what would be the lye ratio to keep my soap as liquid as you did long enough for me to try this technique? Currently, I soap at 33% so I can take my time but, I'm not sure my recipe would stay as long as yours did. Thank you and I'm a new subscriber!!!
@@Zone8-jk hello 😊 I wish I had an answer for you, but I don’t really understand the chemistry behind that too much. I use a 50% lye ratio in my recipe. I also use more oils than butter. I hope that helps!
Espectacular ❤
What recipe do you use?
Do u sell your base recipe? I can't find any😢
I do not, but @royaltysoaps gives her basic recipe in her video descriptions for free.
@lunatheleaf4748 I have hers and have used it a few times, didn't know if there was something major in the difference of the formula. I know people have preferences, and Palm is my issue I think with over heating.
I didnt see where you mixed your oils and lye,is there another video.
Far fetched, but what kind of recipe do u use? My recipes would get to thick to try this technique. Or what should I keep out of the recipe to keep it fluid enough. TiA
@@makeesakhan7263 I would try mostly oils and minimal butter.
Absolutely Gorgeous! 😍
Thank you!
So very beautiful. where do you get your sandstones?
